Ableton Live Workflow tips thread?

    I thought why not start a collection thread about Workflow tips for Live?

    I will start:
    1) create a rack by loading the VST, set your beloved init patch or any other patch, add a pitch midi FX or any other and map some of the controlls. Save the Rack as the Synth name and put it into the favourites, so you can fire up a ready to use Synth instance as you wish.

    2) Jump between MIDI and Audio Mode with M and A keyboard shortcut, A will activate Fades (if they are activated by default) on audio Tracks (This was driving me crazy.)

    in the stock EQ, set a lowcut at around 150hz and set it as the default patch. Now every time you load the EQ, it will come with a lowcut. Saves a lot of time!

    1. Ableton live enhancement suite
    2. ClipGain by Valiumdupeuple (similar to clip gain on protools, i also use bip from him)
    3. Color code and name code so you don't waste time searching for tracks and clips on your arrangement.
    4. Master rack template with key mapped devices (utility mono maker, vu meter, stereo meter, peak meter, etc)
    5. I don't have much on my default template but what i do have it's my most used racks and return tracks saved on my user library.
