"Internet DAW" is not a DAW, it's just a link to a list over browser-based DAWs.

I didn't include AudioSauna and Drumbot as they are more or less just VI sequencers and not really full DAWs.

Audiotool, GridSound and Snap Jam seems like they could be considered full DAWs!

Nice list/thread but which one supports Ableton Link? I can swear not any of the DAW mentioned here! :(
I really don't know why Ableton Link got as industry standard..??

Yep, Cool Edit Pro was the first audio editor I used, some of us vets here know. I remember reading "noise reduction using freq profiler" and sounded like magic to me :D

And what about the other similar audio editor of that time? If memory serves followed a similar path.. from small dev "shareware" to be bought by a big company... the actual Magix's Sound forge I think.
Man, I feel old... Wait, I am old!!

    ..ultimate, not! :bleh: B I T W I G!

And a DAW is per definition (for me) audio and midi processing. So Audacity and forks are out.

If I'm not mistaken, I think the newer versions of Pro Tools supports Ableton Link

But Pro Tools is not "little"!
I'm searching for more like Kushview Element, modern Audiomulch.. except Bitwig (i own it already) or VCV Rack (it exist an Ableton Module but with VST support it cost extra and my money bag is empty).

You can do away with your Red Cross (Disagree) #Reply24 I added Bitwig to the list. Thanks for the hint.

(Nobody is perfect - if you need something perfect, buy a robot).

Audacity is a free multi-track wave (audio) editor.

Relax man, all is is good. I undo-ed the Red Cross. I react a little allergic with headlines, phrases like 'ultimate', 'best-off', etc ..If you know you are not a perfect robot then don't use such phrases! ;)

Sound Forge - Magix, Not DAW. Luna - Universal Audio To use it, have to buy their interface, Pyramix - Merging Technologies until recently you could use freely now everything, they sell along with their products as Universal Audio

Playstation Music-(Maker)or Studio or something like that
had a patern based sequencer similar to ORION
i think Alban did produced the first few tracks of Gorillaz on it
and a few known and unkown Techno Producers used it a lot
it did end up in SEK'D now Magix if i´m not mistaken.

Haha, I went to that link and the desk in the background on the start page really looked familiar...

And then I saw the CC121 controller...

...And I knew straight away who's desk that was. :)

Looks like Dom Sigalas is a user then? ...Unless they've just thrown their DAW over the top of a Steinberg promo, of course. ;-)))

For me, the second (ver. 1), being SoundForge 3 followed by 4 the first, in Win3.11, I even used its Sample Dump Standard via MIDI cable for the SY99.
Also Passport Trax (1 floppy!) and Cakewalk as MIDI editor.
