you have not lived until you have heard the low-mids of a knitted tuba. you people with your plinky, burpy old instruments are outmoded. the reality of the situation is that you slept on the knitters and got caught out.

we all should have listened to the wisdom of the sacred ancestors -- the future is wool. it was all right there before us in loops and stitches.

I'm asking you the same question asked Olymoon. Please post some of them and prove me I'm wrong because I'm really eager to know that such things exist.

We're all trolling the troll

@Djord Emer, you're too recent here to know foster. (Banned several times already) He always disguise his real intentions into questions and end up "demonstrating" that modern music is shit... Which is his only one objective.

You won't have time to lose your time with him, as after I've spend many energy and time trying to explain to him what was the problem, with no result, I gave up.
So he's got his chances several times using several accounts.
He spend all his olymoon patience credits.

I think you should start using the Richter scale.
    Your musical world will rock.

Ha, you inadvertently just answered his question of how to use the chromatic scale that doesn't sound classical jazz or soundtrack. It is universally known that the tone that a burp emits is composed of all 12 tones, or dodecaphony...and your belch fucking rocks, so, there you go.

I actually wrote a song that uses all 12 notes of a scale, does that count?

No way!, Don't give @Xupito the credit for that and don't pay him any royalties.
That wasn't a belch - it was just @Xupito stamping on his little furry friend .:lmao:
    Cruel bastard!!!!:dont:

Any royalties for the "stamping on his little furry friend" euphemism can be donated to your preferred charity or used for restocking Oly's valium supply after managing this thread.

pfft... (as the saying goes) ... that burp-rock future lasted a mere 5 minutes.
The race to the bottom is where it's at now - and I'm not going to let @Xupito get there first.:guru:

Yeah, I can't recall the last time I heard a borrowed chord or secondary dominant in music nowadays.
Fuck, they're really stealing out notes :(

Cringe. Like a 12 year old trying to write an essay for school.

Is a number of used tones is the essense of music? No. It' is feelings, emotions that is the essence of music. Yes, these emotions can be stupid and primitive or profound. But they are way more important than a number of tones used to express them.

Why 12 tones? Why not 17 (like in maqam)? Why not 22 (like in shruti)? 12-tone system is artifitial. It's not natural. It was invented to easily make key changes that you scorn so ardently. No more, no less. It was a big mistake of Shoenberg who thought that 12 tones form 'the musical universe'. No, they don't. It's just a construction of our pianos. This is a trick to make key changes, transpose and modulate. This is the single purpose of 12-tone system.

I think the question is closed.

Well, Shoenberg was saying BS, and you are right !!!. One question dude : Who are you ? What's your background ? Why do you talk about music from other cultures "17 (like in maqam) 22 (like in shruti)" when this thread is clearly about western music. Anyhow the question of the OP is "a thread beginning with a biased view", (dixit Olymoon) . It comes from the troll "Foster" that is just living, breathing, eating, hearing BS. He even swims in it.
