Can you please recommend solo violin vsti\kontakt library, whatever, which is capable of complex, emotional, realistic sound?

P.S. Oh and I don't mind lots of CC's cause I have pedals and breath and bite controller

If you can't find something you like from that list, I'm not sure what else to suggest.

 

Honestly, the NI Cremona Quartet is for me the most expressive and beautiful, even beating the Spitfire stuff ( and I am borderline evangelical about it!). I can really play keys, but even with that I play stuff that nearly brings tears to my eyes. As with most instruments, you need to work with the various articulations, but for me those are the best I have used.

 

With the right CC info and physical controllers SWAM stuff for intricate passages is hard to beat. Keep in mind you’re gonna have to tweak the sound in post. But given the right reverb and attention to detail it can really sound great

 

I've never really used it myself, but many a good thing has been said about Audio Modeling SWAM Violin. It's physically modelled if you don't fancy gigabytes of samples.

thats true! i use the SWAMs with the artiphon instrument 1! its really good! imagine how it would sound with linnstrument or seaboard!?!!

 

my new favourite - Indiginous The Fiddle. It's a Kontakt Library. It's only 800mb but the solo violin is so expressive.

If you would like to have such a complex solo, you should hire a violinist. You use the libraries to give your idea. Working with another musician is always beneficial and you earn so many time when you spend some money.

 

I reckon Bs Emotional violin is your best choice, easy to use, great flexibility and lots of articulations and ornaments.
