It's not about loudness alone, it's about the music remaining consistent and musical despite the very loud volume...and protecting hearing from damage...I had the headphones with me as a test and could listen to them

Maybe some of you guys know, that the song Painkiller by Judas Priest, is a absolutely loudspeakers killer at high volume , because of the song's enormous pressure and dynamic , and even then the headphones remain very clean and absolutely musical.

there aren't many headphones/loudspeakers that can play the song musically at really high volume
