I am confused about TD-3 Accent and Resonance.

If TD-3 is with Distortion it's fine.
But when TD-3 sound is naked then Accents are very unpleasant.
Is there a way to make it sound like real TB-303?
Full Accents in TB-303 are very cool!
Equing or something like this? There are some methods?
Overall sound and tone is totally different.
On the video was only added subtle reverb and delay.
Is there a way to get similar tone?

you might should mess around with the accent knob. i think its to high for your td-3 in comparsion to the original track. thats why you get a more "aggressive" bark. also the filter on the original sounds much lower.

in case your filter is not going low enough, you can adjust it by open up the back side of the case. theres a adjustment screw for the vcf cutoff on the backside of the td3's board.

if you are unsure about it, there a lot of videos on youtube about it. its almost impossible to screw your td3 with that way, even you are not familiar with electronical components. very easy task. i guess you can make it sound more close to the original, with a lower filter setting.

Synthesizer Section

(1) TUNE - adjust the frequency of the internal VCO oscillator, approximately one octave either side of center.

(2) CUTOFF - adjust the cutoff frequency of the low-pass VCF filter. Frequencies above the cutoff will be attenuated, such as the higher-order harmonics.

(3) RESONANCE - adjust the amount of emphasis given to the signal level at the cutoff frequency.

(4) ENVELOPE - select the depth of modulation applied by the envelope generator to the VCF cutoff frequency.

(5) DECAY - control the amount of time taken for the envelope to decay from the current level to minimum.

(6) ACCENT - adjust the amount of accent given to the output for any notes programmed with an accent.

Try and practice different settings from " "ENV" - "ACCENT" - "DECAY".

 

Yeah. I messed around and tweak knobs to make sound close as possible but even then Accents sucks. They are like with low pass filter and still spiky and unpleasant. Accents behave more like kick or snare instead of acid slide sound.
Maybe that's Behringer charm

Problem" With Behringer TD-3 Accents

As I was able to find out on Instagram tonight, there is a software update for Behringer's acid box. So I downloaded this...
Synth Tool V2.2
The Synth Tool can be downloaded from the website. The easiest way to find it is to type TD-3 in the search box above. The corresponding file can be found under Downloads.
At first the Synth Tool did not (!) recognize the device. I searched back and forth for a long time, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, until I had the idea of disconnecting my new MioXL interface (midi interface). Lo and behold, the device was recognized immediately.
The firmware can now be updated very conveniently and the result is...
... amazing, I think. The slide is now really much better. I managed to do a pre/post comparison in the audio example. Unfortunately, in my hypomania to install this, I didn't record more examples. So it stays with this one comparison, which already makes it clear what happened. It's from a remix I'm doing right now.
In addition, I also notice that the resonance now resolves much better and, especially in the last control path, it chirps much better. Before, I found it annoying and had to turn it back down a bit, which meant that the famous chirping was less intense. Now that's a lot better in my opinion.
Everyone can decide for themselves whether all of this is close to the original. Going by ear and youtube I still notice differences. For me, however, they are so small that I am very satisfied with this update. I can therefore only recommend it to everyone.

Yeah! My gear is always up-to-date.
You can't run Behringer SynthTool if you have other midi software running like DAW for example.

Why is my synth not recognized by SynthTool?

Firstly, ensure you are running the latest version of SynthTool. This is found on your products download page.

A 'Device not recognised' error could be occurring for a number of reasons. Listed below are a few troubleshooting steps that can be carried out to find the cause of the issue.

• Ensure SynthTool is the only programme open - Particularly on Mac, programmes that can access the Synth such as DAWs or other audio processing software can take priority of the USB connection rather than the SynthTool. We would suggest restarting your machine and opening SynthTool as your first programme to ensure this is not happening
• Connect your Synth directly to your computer - Using hubs or adapters can get on the way of communication between the synth and software such as SynthTool. If possible, connect directly to a USB on your computer, ideally a USB 2.0 port. It also may be worth trying a different USB cable.
• Remove any other USB connections - For testing purposes, disconnect all other USB devices such as other synths and audio interfaces as this may confuse the SynthTool
• Is the synth recognised by your computer/a DAW? - If your Synth is 'seen' by other software or your computer settings? If so, this at least confirms the USB connection is not defective.

This sounds familiar.

Didnt I write at another place to check your USB installations with USB Deview, because of the device limit on Windows - and I assume you use that platform, since you said nothing else. There may be some driver interference as well.

This is not a problem of the developers but of Microsoft still having that stupid USB device limit in there, that is filled up easily because even if you plug the same device to another port a new registry entry is made.

You can actually use the synth tool at the same time as your DAW, simply make sure your DAW is addressing the TD-3 via Midi, and don't let it use the USB, let the synth tool use this. The problem is that the drivers are not multi client, but on the plus side you do effectively have two channels, midi and USB
