    Yeah, I do also think Roland kind of lost the plot around mid-90's, they had awesome stuff before then (VP, COSM etc.) but then the innovation kind of stifled.

    I'm not saying their later stuff is bad by any means, meaning the ARIA things, Boutiques, or rehashes of their workstation line or anything, but to me the magic just was not there anymore. Korg kept on keepin' on and have come up with awesome new(ish) stuff since, so there's no reason why Roland couldn't do the same.

    But still, the good shit they've done is good so I can't really complain.
