I think both are great choice for any EQ and Filtering jobs. I did notice that Shade had much more filter curves and more modulation options. There are some other differences but I would love you hear what you guys think, what have I missed and which one is better in your opinion?

 

personally like the sweeping sound of

I have the "v2" version of that bx filter. it's pretty nice for a free dl from p.a. I have been using shade quite awhile and still learned a few new things. nice video @Udi Zisser

For me I've never really needed to use Fabfilter Volcano. I've always used Pro Q3 or UVI Shade, which are very good in their own ways. I know volcano is more for like analog filters, but still I never needed to use it, you know?
