    Yeah for sure.

    I mean Virus C Emu and real Virus C also sound different despite same ROM, i mean its teh DAC in the end.

    Good point about the DAC also being a part of the equation. I record my analog synths as a reference, and then I add some non-linearity and a hint of fizz to a VSTi synth with Nebula. It's all about knowing how a real synth sounds both live and recorded, I think. VSTi synths are more convenient, so I prefer to use them whenever I can.

    Ah, I thought the Boutique line used the same tech as the ACB Roland Cloud stuff. Yeah ZenCore is basically just Roland's version of Reaktor ensembles. My bad.
