hey stream-man,
how do you do? fancy some technical explanations about your new tools? and your offline now???

 

I'm online, had to configure and calibrate and slide the knobs.
I'm tired, thank you - the sly fox whispered in the wind.
Regarding tools, I am actually not using a single VST plugin anymore..
And no external hardware is required now either, it's all in the box.
The only thing that annoys me is this weird jack sound that sometimes pops up.. :@

 

does anyone know how to demux a dolby atmos audio track so i can listen to the 7.1.x tracks?

I would say I'm done with my Universal (Re)Mastering Chain and now it's just about stability and fidelity. So I need you guys' help again. How's it sound? Source is HQ Spotify without Normalizer :3

I think that my ears are bleeding after 5 seconds of listening to your stream, that's no sweet dream and nothing near what The Eurythmics intended this song to sound like on any audio reproducing system ever created. If Dave Stewart were dead he'd be turning in his grave trying to get out of his bones final resting place to to shut that shit down. If you can't hear how badly it actually sounds and won't take any of the good folks advice who answered this thread in the hope to place you on the straight and narrow, then anybody with the ears to hear will seek shelter from your hideous storm of an experiment gone wrong. Seriously!

 

You might have been listening while I was retinkering? I was content so I'd thought I'd see if I could put something in there to get a more exciting sound image. Check now

 

And this I say cause Eurythmics must have been playing while I was tinkering.. don't listen to em very much. Rock radio on atm..

Hearing your stream now, with a very cheap pair of headphones (it's voluntary, to test your adequation / compatibility with crappy hardware (like car audio systems for example)...

...And what I hearing now is basically a binaural sound, with the center of the message completely removed, nonexistent. I hear left and right channel, without center.

OK, now lets test with a very high-end headphones, my beloved Sennheiser HD800 (the first edition, the best): OK the level and EQ seems good... but this problem of missing center message is really disturbing. I think there is room for improvement here.

(NOTE1: As I'm writing now the stream is totally interrupted, I don't understand why, have you a technical issue?)

(NOTE2: to be sure to have the maximum fidelity and the best sound, raise the latency of your soundcard as you can, as high as 1024 samples, if you can, so that you'll never suffer of interruptions / dropout due to CPU spikes / buffer overflow.)

(Note3: now the stream have restarted, but the sound is really horrible, centered on the medium... Ah no, now the sound is comparatively better, but there is glitches, just test my latency trick, you'll see)

(Note4: now you have restarted, but there still is dropouts / strange delays in the sound, and above all: the basses are far, far too much exaggerated!)

(Last One: be sure to use an ASIO / Core audio driver for your sound card! You have to indicate the right driver in your audio application's settings)

I had a lot of lag and glitches, which have been fixed.
I had to use the old tool DPClat which measures latency but also improves it somehow - very noticeably, could not run this setup without it on at all times. Also turned off 4x Effeciency Cores on my 12700KF and Intel SpeedStep & -Shift. Seems balanced now. Could you please have a quick listen again and see if the binaural sensation is still there (meaning no center?). Again, a great thank you for evaluating, means the world to me
