You need the audiogridder plugin 1.2.0 beta 6 for macOS. It has to match the audiogridder server build that is installed inside CrossGridder, which in fact is 1.2.0 beta 6.

Don't be scared of using it because it is in beta, it is rock solid and it has fixes over official 1.1.1 version.

i think i messed something up with wine, crossover and playonmac, wine crashes, crossover cant create bottles and playonmac isnt to happy either, already uninstalled everything and reinstalled but nope, i'd hate to have to reinstall my whole system

 

Just to let you know that I faced the same issue and sorry to say, but I had to reinstall mojave. Luckily I love to do these things, so I have fast ways to reinstall everything I need, and at one point I decided that it was faster to reinstall everything than finding the solution.

 

i fear i'm gonna have to do the same, though it might not be a bad thing to finally get rid off the 1690 plugins which i ofcourse all use....

 

Using Crossgridder 1.4 with Crossover 21.1 on Macbook Pro Max/12.1, still no fonts in Reason 12. Where should the fonts be placed in MacOS? The video shows only in Linux.

Is there a step by step Mac tutorial for this? The existing tut is pretty convoluted for my tiny brain.

 

I'll be doing more tutorials, also for Spanish and Italian speakers. If any of you have requests for specific subjects, just write some bullet points and I'll be happy to "videorize" it.

Perhaps for me its an issue regarding Crossover rather than Gridder. Like (for example) where/how do you extract VST's within Crossover and how do you "pointZ" to those VST's using the Autogridder component within a DAW.

 

Crossgridder it's easy, once you import the Crossgridder bottle, run 'Install a Windows Application' and choose any plugin installer and run as you normally would, everything goes where it's supposed to and is available when Audiogridder is loaded in the DAW

 

cant wait for this growing into a suuper easy form with no risks of reinstallations, then ill check it out

 

Thanks for the reply. Ive done all that (I believe) and have installed Pianoteq. When I open the AGridder (inst) it tells me that it is accessing Crossgridder but there are no instruments available. Clicking on the "+" button leaves me with a blank. Any ideas as to where/how to load an instrument?

Yeah, no. Im using the beta that you posted earlier.

Having said that Im certain that its something dumb that Im doing at my end.

 

Did you check the list of plugins inside the AG server settings? Is Pianoteq validated correctly?

 

I guess that you already know, there is a plugin for the FXs and a plugin for the Instruments. If I am correct, choosing the instrument can load fx but choosing the fx can't load instruments.

With a video I could understand better.

 

Ive checked VST 2 and 3 support, but I can't see Pianoteq anywhere inside the Server Settings (or any plugins for that matter). And yes, Im attempting to load via an instrument plugin.

 

Boom! It works!!

...now I just have to try and figure out what I did and didn't do before. Thanks for your help Heraclitus. Cant wait to load a few more plugs into this and see how it performs!

could you help me out with Plugin EW Play 6 on Crossgridder 1,4.
On my Parallel Desktop everything is working fine but in Crossgridder the plugin works but don't show any text. This mean I can't see any presets. Maybe missing Fonts could be a problem?
I put already your downloadable Fonts in right directory but nothing worked so far.
Do you have any Ideas ?
