Studio One 5.5 - Can you install the update from PreSonus website?

    If you already have the 5.4 from sister site, if you download the 5.5 demo from the PreSonus website. will it just update the registered install, or will it just install the demo?

    Wonder if R2R will put out the update?

    I tried something similar in the past. Sadly, it didn't work.
    Sooner or later, the cracked version will appear. Be patient.

    it contains patched files, after updating previous activation will not work.

    i kind of agree with @Talula with legit users getting the updates eventually
    but as r2r patched version user like me i need to know if its useful or not /if it speed up my work or not

    sometimes i skip an update like the last one,but after seeing the new update
    it has new feature that can create pattern while holding shift and it will move the notes accordingly
    which is cool and useful update for me at least (saw it on presonus insta account)

    in closing , it always depend on how we are comfortable with S1 workflow ,if these updates will speed up our work
    then its recommended to update

    also its recommended to update while you dont have any current project in the work
    ,if you have to ? then SAVE your work or finish the current project and master it then you can update
    and start fresh project (and learn these new features)

    I doubt that I'm the only one who is NOT doing this. Usually I wait one or two weeks before risking to have my working installation being screwed by a flawed update.

    Thankfully, no one did this in this thread - so far (I hope it stays this way). You're the first who mentioned this.

    R2R prepatched with their own key the binaries, such that their keygen works. Sadly we have to wait for R2R to release the new version. I am waiting too, since i wanted to try a new DAW.

    This used to work with the earlier releases of R2R , such as S1 3 and 4 , but with the last keygen, it doesnt work, because now they dont provide the patched exe file

    I bought a full legit license on ebay for around $150 just to be able to post bug reports lolI did that But still, the presonus support is the most incompetent right behind AIR Music Technology
