Leaving kaspersky settings unchanged since my last post, I noticed that using Vivaldi browser everything works perfectly. Currently I have KAV with the sister site in whitelist, on chrome, edge and firefox there is no possibility of access while with Vivaldi there is. I hope this can be useful.

i can confirm it too as kaspersky AV user and i already posted the solution
on the chat when it happened first but its alright heres it is again

Solution :
1 - copy the sister site URL first
2 - open kaspersky /setting/network settings/scroll down to trusted addresses
3 - add the sister URL to allow kaspersky to let the address open
4 - click save and again click save to close kaspersky
5 - now open URL and you should have no problem

its very easy and it should work fine for all kaspersky users

 

I had to also changed how the adblock behave related to the sister site and also added as trusted on Kaspersky, finally I had some good response today

 

Happened to me as well, but there is setting in Kaspersky so you can add sister site as trusted site.... See above!
But, yes, for some reason, Kaspersky started to block sister site...
Other dangerous sites which are untrusted, are okay as far is Kaspersky concerned...

 

Here's an easy workaround: Just use a browser with integrated VPN.

Had such an issue with a movie streaming site which got blocked by my
Antivirus (not Kaspersky) because of a script that site used. Testwise
I switched the browser to Opera (with integrated VPN enabled) and that
problem was gone.
When I switched back to Firefox/Chrome/Edge or turned off the Opera VPN,
the site got blocked again, even If I have a paid systemwide VPN service running
all the time in the background. The explaination could be that such an internal
browser VPN hides the connection to that website from everything outside
of the browser while a real VPN encrypts every connection on the machine,
including from every program installed so the Antivirus then works inside of
that encrypted bubble and still blocks the connection to the site.
But that's just a guess.

Over the time I completely switched to Opera when it comes to warez,
streaming and similar stuff while I use my other browsers for regular
internet things.

Thanks for the tip re Opera, much appreciated. Having just tried it, I can confirm it does work. Note, after initially installing opera the sister site was still unavailable (i'm a kaspersky user) however that's because the integrated VPN service within Opera is disabled by default. Enabling it through the advanced settings was all that was required.

Uninstall the antivirus, and use your head. Everyone must understand for himself what is dangerous and what is not.
I always turn off antivirus, because it consumes the resources of my PC.
You were going to download warez software, right? You probably know that antiviruses react to keygens, right?

 

Firstly, this thread isn't about downloading software. It's about accessing the sister site.

Secondly, with all due respect, your off-topic advice makes no sense. You tell people to uninstall their antivirus and use their head (which in itself is a reckless approach if you ask me - how does your head know what dangers lurk whilst surfing the interweb?).
In the next sentence you tell people to turn it off like you've done on your pc! I thought you'd already uninstalled it?

 

You need to remove third-party antivirus, disable the built-in Windows. How many years of using this method, never got viruses.

 

The click popups given by sister site when not logged are similar to the ones from free leechers, link shorteners etc. Any sort of adblock is mostly useless since the URLs used by these sites are completely random strings and probably different everytime.

So basically the solution is to change of antivirus, as I can see, my Kaspersky has still 155 days of license available
