Hi,

Guitar rig 6 works in its standalone form but whenever I try to launch it in Pro Tools, I get the error message that it is not a valid aax plugin.

I've tried both the R2R version and Bob Dules, and it works in Pro in standalone. Does anyone know how to fix this.

the aax fix is made for audio utopia protools.

I'm not too sure what you mean, I downloaded BC Patchworks, but there doesn't seem to be a VST file.
It runs in pro tools, so I am confused

 

Latest Guitar Rig 6 from R2R works very well on PT 12.5 HD AU.
