Hello everyone I have to buy a new notebook: I use it for music production, graphics, video programming etc ... I am undecided between a gaming notebook or to switch to MacBook Pro 16 ". I await advice. Thank you!

It really depends on how much you're looking into the future.
If you don't have to rely on some old software running on Intel only then M1 is likely the best choice for music production.
Unlike with Windows, developers basically have no choice but to support native M1 sooner or later.
It doesn't even need to be an M1 Max, the latest standard M1 is more than enough for music.

Of course both are good but it completely depends on what you need.

If you need to play games or a windows lover go with xps it's fine.but windows laptops have issues i can't confirm what models. But most of my friends who had windows laptops had various issues.

If you need superior performance, cool and quiet and durability, specially for long-term use buy new MacBook with an apple silicon chip.

For purely music and other creative work there is no other "laptop" other than the Macbook Pro M1 Pro or Max ( i put "laptop" cuz while yes you can find better performance on Windows laptops you are at that point using a weird desktop as you will be using it plugged in for that power to be accessible or to not kill your battery in 10 mins)

The notebook I noticed is Acer Nitro AMD Ryzen ™ 9 processor, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080.

Intel Core i7-12700H & i7-12800H are coming soon, (6 big cores, 8 economy cores, 20 threads).

To the OP: If you get a Dell (although this actually probably this applies to most laptop manufacturers) be sure to remove every little bit of bloatware you possibly can. I am not at all a fan of Dells, but I decided to get an XPS 13 a while back, because I like how thin/lightweight they are.. and I wanted to give Dell another chance.

Before removing the bloat, the thing was SOOOOOOOO underwhelming (and it had a high end i7, for the time). Even after removing it, I was a little underwhelmed. But that's an XPS 13 from about 3 years ago now, they may have improved some since then. Things can change quickly in the PC market. I'm not unhappy with it, but I've generally had best luck with ASUS, and the laptop prior to my XPS 13 was a Samsung of some sort, and was actually quite awesome. Out of the box, my Dell was actually slower than the older Samsung (which had some sort of older gen i3), thanks to the bloatware.

    hi

If you need to play games or are a Windows fan, Xps will suffice.

However, Windows laptops have troubles, albeit I'm not sure which kinds. My pals using Windows laptops, on the other hand, experienced a variety of problems.

Switching from PC to Mac depends on your software too.
It's not easy to get the same software you currently use on PC and start from scratch on Mac.
