I have problem with Tascam Stereo Mic.
It is connected with PC via USB.
Recording from Internal Mics.
When I'm monitoring directly from Tascam via Headphones it seems ok.
But when I'm playing recording on PC Speakers Bass is only from Right Side.
Sub working only from Right Audio Channel.
Low Cut is Off. But even if is turn on and set to 120dB there is a difference on PC Speakers.

My initial thought is that you have a phase cancelling issue with your PC speakers, but that would make all audio you played through them sound as if they were being run through a permanent flanger.

I'm running some tests on my PC at the moment so I cannot listen to that recording yet.. Once it's finished I will have a listen.

 

All audio on PC Speakers is ok. Youtube or Daw. Bass is Balanced same for Left Channel and Right Channel.

 

Which DAW do you use? Can you take a picture of your channels?

 

Actually I didn't use it in DAW.
I use it in OBS Studio.
But there is no difference if I'm using it like recording directly on Tascam or recording on PC via USB.
I checked and I changed sides.
I tested
Mode A-B (L-R)
&
Mode X-Y (R-L)

On the both recordings Bass is on the Right Side.
Uff.
Probably Both Mics are ok.

I'm getting equal bass left and right through my headphones <<<< cancel that lemme start again listening to all 3..


UPDATE..

I listened to the left in mono, then switched to the right in mono and to me there was no difference.

Re. 1st audio: Although I see he means the R has more top to his slap...yet the low end seems the same both sides.
Acoustic reflection of top?
2nd audio, not so. Equal bass & top.
3rd audio, not so. Ditto.
I should probably stick it through an analyser to be sure though! hehe

the A-B (L-R).mp3 that you posted plays fine here when you tapp the right there is plenty of low then when you tap the left its the same.

from the sound of it the op is using a tascam portable recorder as a usb mic.

 

Internal - I mean Built-In Mics
There are 2 XLR ports but I doesn't have External Mics so I don't use it yet.
It's connected from built-in mini USB port via USB cable to PC.

I recorded via my Smartphone what is played from my speakers when I played those recordings.
It's in mono but you can here when tap was in right and when was in left. Right have more bass.

the tascam portable recorder has two mic's built in and its a modle that can connect external mics to it with xlr connectors like for example a
Tascam DR-40

2 Internal and 2 External
Internal are Built-In
External Mics you can plug into XLR ports

Tascam Mics are ok.
I probably found a reason of the problem.
I have 2 Stereo Jacks 3.5mm plugged into Mixer.
1 from Speakers
1 from Sub
Both Jack 3.5mm cables are Stereo and both are into Jack 6.3mm Stereo Adapter.
Cable from Speakers is Stereo
but
Cable from Sub is Divided into 2 Channels Sub/Center
So it looks like Right Channel send Bass to the Sub and Left Channel Send Bass to the Center Speaker
But I doesn't have Center Speaker and cable is connected only to the Sub.
So it looks like I must buy Jack 3.5 Mono Cable and Jack 6.3 Mono Adapter?
Or maybe only Jack 6.3 Mono Adapter will solve the problem?
But why I didn't notice it?
Probably because almost all tracks have Mixed Lows into Mono.
And in this case Bass was Stereo.
But why I connected stereo cable to the Sub?
I doesn't remember and why I lived with this that long time?
Mom had right when she tells me that I need to stop smoking weed, it can be dangerous for the kids at age 12.
I should listen to her I should listen.
But those 2 years of smoking weed everyday was gorgeus. Parties, whores. Unforgettable times.

On your speakers there's too audio signal much stronger from left channel than right channel on this track?
Or there is audio signal on both speakers the same?

 

Nope, but balance is shifted to the left by round about 8dB.
The content is the same on both sides.

 

So everything is ok.

Is this fixed? Audio over USB cable can be a pretty tricky thing. Have you switched the ports it is connected to? And have you changed the USB cable?

 

Yes. It's fixed. Problem solved. I had connected sub via Jack stereo cable.
I switch the cable to the Jack mono and everything works fine
