Hi vibez I would say uninstall and dont delete the sound banks folders and reinstall the first disc of the plugs and then the updates as long as you direct back to the steam folder for Omnisphere Trillian and stylus to the sage folder things should be ok *yes*

Most stupid comment i read both plugin was made when cubase 5 was still a VERY Young Daw!
It has nothing to with what DAW and how old it is..
I bet he havent installed them correctly and that the dll is not in the vst folders
And that problem should Cubase 7 and Win 8 fixed?
As they are new modern DAW and OS and is so clever that they scan the whole computer for vst dll:s it takes time but my god they find them :)

And b.t.w XP is the best win OS for music making..

Are you using 64bit or 32bit Cubase? You are not trying to load 64bit dll in 32bit Cubase are you?

Anyway, tro to delete the vst2Blacklist.xml that is in Cubase application data folder

    like this
    Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 5

Yeah, if you love to care it and fix & tricks to left it running so may it's the best "for you"
Unlike me, I'm really tired from such "Tamagotchi-DAW", I don't need a house pet on my computer for intensive care.
I will use a DAW instead to care and fix endless problems, and this & more offers me Ableton Life.
Sorry, when I hear e.g. that some people can't open his projects after a update or they lost sounds/presets, this will be for me already more than enough.
And? The amazing Cubase 7.5 are able actually to handle REX Files or still NOT?
So, if the people have too much free time, just buy Tamagotchi-Cubase and care for it if ever you will use it.
After your Admin-Tasks may you have a little bit time to use Cubase for make music!

I don't feel that I have to care for it and again your comment makes no sense because if you want to compare the quality of the code in Cubase 5 vs even Ableton Live 9 (how many years later?) you'll still find that Cubase is way more efficient. Ableton is slow, has PDC issues and the mixing simply cannot be compared between the two. Every DAW has some issues but overall Cubase is one of the most powerful platforms for music production especially with 7.5. Not to mention he's not really interested in changing DAWs, he just wants to know why his plugs aren't showing up.

I think some sequencers just have some issues and it's just something you have to accept most of the time. For example, my main DAW is Ableton but 99.9% of the time it refuses to recognise SynthMaster2 as well as a bunch of SSL plugins. My Cubase 8.5 sees them fine ALL of the time as does FL Studio so I know it's an Ableton/non legit issue so just have to accept it as trying to solve it usually ends up in chasing your tail.

However, I did used to have an issue where Cubase 8 refused to recognise Sylenth1 until one day it just picked it up. Have you tried going into the Cubase plugin manager and see if they are in there? And do they get recognised in another DAW?

if you use C5 cracked 32 bit
it's simple, you cannot use vst plugins 64 bit in DAW 32 bit
just install the old version's and do not update them.
    i hope it help you.
