    this is really interesting

    every musicians nightmare happened even to Paul Mccartney...

    he could have become a lead guitar player..but stage fright couldn't let him play solos

    That makes sense when it comes to his "melodic bass playing". He redefined how you could play bass. Maybe it was a good thing he didn't pick the guitar.

    Thanks for the youtube link. I've really dug back in to McCartney since watching Peter Jackson's Get Back. Watched all the DVD's from the McCartney Archive collection but I hadn't seen this Hulu series. Brilliant start to the new year!
