What I'm reading here is just a list of recent junk movies made in the USA. This is just junk with a very powerful marketing boost: in 6 months, after the hype is over, you'll find the bluray discs of these films in Walmart's basket for $ 2.95 each.
Everything In showbusiness that has a too strong adv push is pure scam, without any form of art inside.
Fortunately, good cinema does exist, you have to work hard to find it and you certainly shouldn't look for it in Hollywood blockbusters

Eddie the Eagle is such a charming film! I have a faint memory of that Olympics, but I definitely didn’t appreciate what he accomplished back then. While the movie is a dramatized version of events, it serves as a great reminder of his courage in pursuing his dream despite all the challenges he faced. He understood he wasn’t going to win, but that didn’t matter to him. Taron Egerton did a fantastic job in the role, really capturing Eddie's mannerisms.

 

Wow I forgot how terrible 2021 was.

 

I watch quite a few Chinese, Korean, Indian, and Russian Films even before 2021 and still do, the spectacular CGI effects on some of their films is incredible, If these countries had all their movies properly dubbed with better voice actors they would take over the movie industry. the only main fault with movies from India is the obligatory singing and dancing scenes in every movie no matter the genre. They put all hollywood films to shame now, with their constant remakes and the same old rehashed trash with nothing new and fresh. I guess instead of writers block they seem to have writers brainfreeze, or possibly I have just seen so many movies in my long life that it's harder to be impressed by anything anymore. As a kid the theaters were full of Italian made action, fantasy movies many badly dubbed but always enjoyable, Disney had many live action adventure films in those days. All the kids spent at least 7 to 8 hours in the theaters on saturdays and/or sundays with triple features a serial and cartoons all for just 25 cents, popcorn cost a dime, soda pop for a nickel , who had time to get into trouble when you were glued to a cinema screen on weekends with so many theaters all within 15 minute walking distances. Our parents also got a break and knew we were happy, entertained and safe.
