    Seriously, wtf is happening???
Three computers died in my house two weeks ago, mine just after finishing a few vocal takes for my submission to our album.
I can´t get nice replacements here, so I bought them on line.
My package arrived a week later, with cheaper and worst parts than what I bought.
    A mistake? mmm.. "maybe". :dont:
Same thing happened a month or so ago when purchasing my first pair of monitors.
I received broken monitors. A one week thing ended being more than a month of waiting because all the shipping involved.
Now I´m waiting for my pc components again... I NEED to finish my song!
Two days ago a storm broke my house´s roof. You wanna swim? Come to my house.
BTW, it´s almost raining again now, with half of the roof unfinished. Lets see what happens...
Also, we got some short circuits.. water+cables = two days without light. Well.. candle´s light is romantic I think.
I was waiting for a water service drop to start haunting and living like our ancestors.
Luckily the submissions deadline for the album is delayed, it´s tough here.
But well, I´m taking all this with some humour sense, with the wet wind in my face I feel like lieutenant Dan.
C'mon end of the year, it´s all you have?!?!?! :bleh:

Hey Carl, that's the right spirit, keep on fighting.
There are storms going on here on the other side of the world too, trees falling down and power cuts for 1000's of ppl. I've escaped any damage so far.
At least you don't have snow, ice and temperatures below zero like here right now. :mates:

Sounds like some parts were DOA. Are you able to go out to the shops by yourself instead of have it shipped?

Well, I live at the west, so we have zeroº and some snowflakes sometimes, but the heat is dry like hell.
    Where are you from this?

    Carl,

I'm in the old viking countries, way up north in Scandinavia. It's the darkest time of year now, sun is only up for about 4 hours a day.
Summers are great here though, even if they're a bit short and it never gets really hot.
I've never been to South America but it's probably number one right now of places I wanna visit sometime *yes*

I feel you carl, I really do. My holiday season hasn't been the best either and by not the best I mean an utter fucking nightmare. :bleh: My computer is constantly and insistingly letting me know that it's the final act and it's the perfect time too because I have nothing but things to do on it. Yay! :snuffy: I was able to backup my data but who knows if it's not all corrupt but I figured what's the rush to find out...that's a gift to unwrap later. Oh and did I mention that while this is happening there's a relaunch of AudioZ, ideas to submit for the relaunch of AudioSex, two forums to moderate at, PMs to answer, a forum album to oversee, a new computer to have to pick out and purchase before the holidays end and real life which I'm not going to even get into. Oh yeah and this is the second time that I'm typing this up because my system is on life support and has now become a wild free-for-all where anything can happen. :wow: I'm amazed that you can still rustle up that kind of attitude at a time like this and you've inspired me to do the same. I know it doesn't sound like it but you did. :mates:

    [IMG] My back.

Don`t shout your end of year challenge too loudly Carl. We still have the HUGE debris field of Comet Ison to negotiate, and, if you listen to quite a few well educated spectators, we might be in for a bumpy ride! :wow:

(BPEarthWatch is well worth subscribing to for up to date news.)

Half a roof, wind and rain in your hair is an annoyance for sure. Half a roof with fire balls falling from the sky is more like a flock of pterodactyls who have spent the previous evening in a curry/burrito house passing over head. It could get REAL real!

Hope everything works out with the computer, electric, roof and your album.

God bless and shine His face upon you. *yes*

Well, it seems that we all put our thoughts far away from our own place.
I never went far away from here, just small trips (I never took a plane), and I always wanted to meet Iceland, Japan... or places like that (really far).
It seems you´re near than me from Iceland, maybe you´ve similar weather there???
I´m sure girls are just beautiful up there *yes*
You´ll be melted by the heat when you come. I live next to the mountains, in a semi-desertic place. We have really big mountains, rocks and dust, really empty spaces, it´s really hot in summer, and really cold in winter (maybe not as up there, but with snow storms in the upper places, not so much in the city). My favourite season is autumn, the city is really small (too much for me), but full of trees, so everything is covered by leaves and the weather becomes not so extreme. Also, a few rain storms help to change the dry common scenario in that season.
