So recently I have obtained the entirety of Zero-G's Altered States Kontakt library- the thing is though I can't get it to import into any version of Kontakt properly, whether it'd be ver. 5 or the latest (6.6.x). Another thing too that doesn't really help is that my particular copy is missing the "nicnt" file it needs to write it onto the list. Everything is here more or less but I'm not sure of the missing nicnt file is the culprit to it being absolutely useless at the moment. And yes, I have already exhausted forging nicnt files only to recieve the dreaded "This patch cannot be loaded. Make sure that the original library is properly activated!" message upon selecting any of it's associated nki instruments. If anyone has a spare and appropriate "nicnt" file, feel free to bring that up, and all will be very much appreciated! I'll provide a general screenshot to show what's contained in my library folder.

it is library for kontakt full! libraries tab function not supported!
just use "files" tab and load needed instrument (*.nki files).

It´s an old Intakt lib, doesn´t need ncint to load it in the tabs section, same as Morphology and Outer Limits. I have it installed and working since Kontakt 4. I think the problen is with your version of Kontakt.

There was never one to begin with.
There are libs this old that can be added to the lib tab without a .nicnt too; they have .nkx and .nkc files and will be seen as a library.
My Altered States, just like Rudolph's, has been installed since the Kontakt 2 days or something!

And the fact it is in my Library Tab without a .nicnt present implies that Service Centre already has the SNPID from its list that it has which includes the old legacy libs, and that it loaded as per any other library. (That you don't mess with with!)
The files are old type again but different: .nkc and .nks.

I would simply delete any .xml file you may have created and just try adding it as per normal again, without any homemade .nicnt file.

Didn't you think that manufacturers could officially make a version for kontakt after impakt was withdrawn from the market? Have you ever thought that other people might have this new version?

simply create a valid nicnt file with updated data,this library is listed in Native Access.xml.
so it can be added in the library tabs for every kontakt last version.
this is a user fail only.

? Uh, I don't know. I didn't mention Intakt!
But I think it is the same version anyway. According to above it is.

 

I have this library and it's different.
2 main folders - Instruments and Samples (with few subfolders) + folder with mp3 demos.
Instruments - only nki files in subfolders
Samples - only wav files in subfolders

 

Mine is 3 x 3 of part1, 2, and 3 of .nkc and nks, Instruments, and MIDI files!
So my samples are wrapped up in the .nks!
No mp3 demos.
It's probably one of the oldest libraries I have.
And it added without a .nicnt.
