FabFilter issues

    Hi there!
    Got a problem with FabFilter plugins. The window where the plugin shows (no matter which is) is shown blurry and not complete (see captures):

    I've read about it (I think) in fab's troubleshooting guide:

    When going to change what's asked to be changed (disable Antialiasing FXAA in the NVIDIA Control Panel) I found that it was already disabled (see capture):

    I don't know what can be causing this problem. Any clue? Anybody else has the same problem?

    I'm on W11 21H2 22000.376 (all updates installed). Bitwig 3.3.11
    HP Victus 16-e0026ns

    Have you set your resolution to max (for your screen/monitor)? Is this just for Fabfilter plugins only, or all plugins?

    Yes, max resolution on the settings. And yes, it is just for Fabfilter plugins only.

    Try to enable/disable "Stretch Plug-In window to match DPI"

    Also this:

    With some graphics cards and host software combinations, the GPU-accelerated graphics acceleration system in our latest plug-ins might cause problems. You can turn off graphics acceleration to find out if this fixes the problem.

    Tip: If you experience problems, first try to update your graphics drivers to the latest version!

    Windows: Click the Start button, type 'regedit', Enter to open the Registry Editor. (You might have to give permission to continue.) Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\FabFilter. Right-click and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value. Name it GraphicsAcceleration and ensure its value is 0.

    Could not find this option nor into FabFilter's plugins neither into Bitwig's config, BUT...


    That Windows registry entry worked flawlessly.:wink:

    Hmm, not the first time I hear this problem. Also in some Softube plugins I think?
    Very sad thing. Go graphics standards!!! :rofl:

    Softube has a very weird visual bug with Bitwig indeed (also in Ableton I think, can't remember). You gotta run the DAW in win7 compatibility mode. Super weird.

    I had no problems with Softube plugins with Bitwig on Windows 10 & 11. Don't know about 7...

    For the future, you should get that option when you press the + to add a new plugin into the channel, then when the plugin browser is open, you right click on plugins name - and should be there. But only if you use windows at bigger scaling than 100% (if you use 2k/4k screen)

    Last year's R2R release?
    I think they fixed it (I tried their amp sims only and they worked) but the older releases all had that problem for me.

    They're bugs that happen depending of your PC. AFAIK only a minority. But it still sucks.
