I got an idea about the title of my new song and found it already exists as the title of a novel. In this case, can I still use it or will it be a copyright infringement?

 

You are not publishing a novel and there are plenty of books (and songs) with the same titles, so relax...

 

Of course you can use it. I would even arrange a fake lawsuit drama with that author so we both get more publicity.

But joke aside there should not be any problem with it at all, it sounds far fetched and songs with book names come out every day.
