Well I was at uploaded for years and I couldn’t PAY they refused my credit card same as I always paid with
After a lot of troubles joined the help by mail they confessed they had a lot of problems with EU credit cards from EU they don’t propose PayPal & asked me to retry but my safety code never came as Txt msg or email
I didn’t changed my phone gave my real identity so I got really mad
And I cancelled and got RG .... sad story and on top of that people say RG are thieves dammit

 

Did I piss u off? Just because you are a good selfless uploader doesn't mean everyone is like you or are you the leader of all uploaders? What about the ones who upload on torrent? I couldn't have ever used N3 if it were on RG or UL

 

RG has been great. Especially at honoring bitcoin payment

 

I was almost tempted to suscribe... then I saw this:




You see the red arrow in the face of Rapidgator? It means that Alldebrid is not the only one to have problems with this filehost... Though perhaps is it only in Europe?

It looks like these RG guys hate site accounts, perhaps they have traffic / bandwidth issues and wanna favor individual (regular) subscriptions only? If it's the case, why they keep on selling site subscriptions? It's not logic.

So, from my (limited, surely unimportant) point of view, the problem is now: how to do without uploaded, considering that many uploaders (not all, thankfully!) on sister site share only thru one or two selected filehosts?

Conclusion: it seems reasonable to look for one or two replacement hosts, I hope that uploaders will be able to vote and decide themselves, collectively, for this.

I just remembered our dear Olymoon's signature: "The ones who DO are the ones who DECIDE". So I hope it will be the case now, once again.

A few years back, it was a common thing that Rapidgator was actively figthing all these multihoster companies and banning their accounts in batch whenever they found them. It got a lot better over time, but it still goes down frequently for days at a time.

 

yesterday, rapidgator was up and down all day. it took me hours to download a large library (73 separate files to download). on a normal day, that would have been done in less than an hour. today, rapidgator has been down pretty much the whole day. but that's the advantage to having a real-debrid account. you can always use the other links if rapidgator is down. for years now, the other links have mostly been uploaded for me, but sometimes i get lucky and a mirror will have ddownload, katfiles, zippy, filefactory, depositfiles, or one of the other hosters that rd has.

 

Isn't that signature with a RealDebrid banner and affiliate link violating forum or good taste rules?

not sure if its on the table, but filefactory seems to be stepping up to the plate. some older files are still there long past when other hosts had deleted them.

 

All this means someone is trying to tell us stories about "safeness".
Why doesn't Saint just say ; "We are stopping uploaded because the uploaders don't get paid anymore."
Share is Love and sometimes a little money too, right?
I'm ok with this but I don't like to be taken for a newborn.

What I can tell from my side: FF is very limited in size, 3 Go / day is the actual DL limit IF you use a multi-host debrider similar to the one I subscribe to. Plus, the speed is limited and doesn't exploit all my bandwidth...

I hope our uploaders heroes will agree on the best replacement for uploaded, I pray for it will be one that don't have all these hidden (or not) nasty limitations.

I think now that suggesting anything is stupid (given the fact that I'm not an uploader, I don't have any right to request anything), I just can witness about those who simply are not reliable / not trustable enough.

No, I'm just saying that a few weeks isn't exactly brilliant for the life of a link.
And I'm not even an uploader of big libraries, but it would still be inconvenient imo.

well just wasted money on uploaded since reups are not being done if uploaded is available plus... uploaded maxs out at 30kbps

I find RG the most reliable. That being said I have had payment snafus with them so I buy their subscription through 3rd parties that support paypal now - the peace of mind costs ~10% more than buying direct.

I always look for Paypal options because they give you the option of blocking a reoccuring payments and are generally buyer-centric - where as if you went direct credit card you would have to go through the banks fraud process and get a new card number.

 

If one of the two file share site links are still up, there is no need for a reup. It's how it is.

I wish there were more files posted on zippyshare, mega.nz, yandex and some of the other fast sharing sites because of the excessively long waiting times before UL and RG allow you to get the next part(s) of a file. I don't bother with big files because of this, many times I tried to download and got a 5 or more hours time to finish for a 400-500 mb file get cutoff at 70% done, try to get it again after the long wait between files which wasn't our fault that the file froze in the first place.

 

I don't use it for much except some translation and downloads, but Chrome browser can have hangs and freezes and deal with it.
You can Pause the download and then Resume it.
Apart from actual disconnections, all of what you mentioned stopped happening for me.
