Yeah, might payoff for you, but if that's the case for everyone we wouldn't even have a discussion on that topic. UL had a lot of trouble with unreachable servers, non-working downloads and whatnot. Like i said before, i would be happy with ddownload as an end user cause i never had any trouble with them while you might call it "crap". On the other hand, i understand the need of a compromise that fits most needs.

ddownload doesn't work with Real Debrid so it is not a nice choice

Its apparent that a single hoster won't do, decide 2 or 3. One of them can be fromsmash, which allows fast downloads but expire after 14 days. So user without debrid will have this gap to download and the uploader can keep earning from other hosters as well. Win Win

Considering the time involved in compression and uploading to two fss is enough work already, anything more than two links is a bonus for the downloaders and is at the discretion, and time!, of the uploader.

i have real-debrid, and i use the ddownload links every time they are posted. they are the fastest links for me. not sure why you're having problems.

Uploaders need to generate money from those links, so they can invest that into sample packs and your favorite kontakt libraries which in turn generate more money Which makes more stuff available, that's the big warez wheel, uploaded and rapidgator have/had the best offering that attract uploaders there might be a deal under the table, but who knows, if sister site is changing one of their main file hosters there might be a reason behind it.

Absolutely not. I have released several libs over the years and I paid for them for myself and then shared them, and there is no way ever that any amount of pennies, how ever many links and fss's I provide, would pay for even one of the libs.

some uplaoders do operate in that way, not all but the ones that matters actually do that, not sure how much ffs do provide but i'm pretty sure it is more than enough, plus some AAA releases do actually generate alot so not sure about that, in any way Kudos to you for sharing your purchased libs appreciated.

I have also rarely had problems with UL (as a downloader). Location of the servers is Switzerland. So no wonder. However, it is to be expected that UL will continue to be increasingly harassed by the rights holders. They are almost constantly in court. This leads to fast takedown and few new users. Therefore I assume that UL will close down in the next months.

I will therefore not renew my premium account either and consider Saint's decision against UL to be correct and the warning is gratefully acknowledged.

Of course newer and smaller hosters will not be as good as older and finacially and technically better equipped.
But that is only a question of time. In the end, we'll have to switch to other hosters. The rights holders are simply too fond of the big players.
One of the problems will always be: There is no ONE hoster that is good for all users.
The quality/speed also depends very much on where the servers are physically located. Therefore, it would be desirable to choose the hosters so that their servers are distributed on the continents, for example Asia, Europe, Americas

 

Not sure what's your issue mate, you take everything literal you overthink everything, take it easy and relax, plus under the table deals run the world, i don't think it's out of the realm of realities, and nothing wrong with Saint making these kind of deals to keep the lights running around here...
