It opens fine but then it freezes like for 40 seconds... and i have it installed in a ssd, any ideas?

 

Is this the one with a million presets and banks? V.R''s release I think. It happens to me too even with a SSD. It's normal dw about it

 

yes, it comes with like 24000 presets, so that's the problem then? you know if there's some way to get rid of expansions that you don't want?

 

I'm not too sure tbh there must be a way to remove them I'd like to think but I do know there's another release of analoglab that loads faster and has less presets. I think It's the R2R one so if it really bothers you just use that one instead

installed the 5.2 that is supposed to not have this problem and it's the same crap! 40 seconds of freeze

 

And do you have it on Windows 10 or Windows 11?

Seems to work good, so far on Windows 11, no delays (but I do have a fast machine).
Maybe someone with Windows 10 can advise you

i had analog lab 4 before and also freezed on the startup, and that thing came with half of the sounds of this one, so this means that this plugin is fucking shit then

and now there's a new version 5.4.5, i bet is the same crap...

 

Which CPU? How much RAM? Graphic card? Can you take a picture of the task manager when you load Analog Lab?

"Delete a specific temp file called "db.db3".
MAC: /Library/Arturia/Presets
WIN: C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets

If you have not enabled the display of hidden folders please go to your file explorer -> display -> check "show hidden folders"

Alternatively, you should be also able to directly copy/paste the path indicated above in your Windows File browser address bar.

Once this file is deleted, the preset list will be updated on software opening."

My comments:
Indeed the loading time of both standalone and plug-in dramatically changed to very fast.
Please update to latest version and use vst3 if you can.

do you know which is the correct way to delete banks that you don't want?
