Annoying to me as i just paid for 6 months sub.

I realise that they had some troubles with their servers for a couple of weeks(for me, no idea if others had it for longer) but this week everything has been great again.

I wont use RG as they have stolen money from me twice now and they will never get another cent from me again.

 

For how much the DEV's cry The Sister Site must generate a hell of a lot of traffic. Billions!

 

i use alldebrid and uploaded is working normal here
only rapidgaytor disconnects me so now and then
just use alldebrid 15€ for 180 days or 356 days for €24
then you can use uploaded, rapidgaytor and other filehosters

 

Another (good) idea can be to use Linksnappy. They cover a lot of hosters, too.

Or what does "dumping" mean?

 

For all it's faults (and it's major fault seems to be how quick they are to respond to takedown notices), one of the good things about uploaded is the long retention times. Someone could upload a file a year or two ago and it'll still be there. Also true of Rapidgator, but not true for many of the other sites.

 

Can you explain how rapidgator stole money from you?

 

i would say the exact opposite. if you check any older post and see if the links are online, you'd find that 80% of the time uploaded is gone and RG is still up.

@Willum What do you mean Rapidgator have stolen money from you twice? Did you have repayments switched on in your account settings? You know you can turn Rapidgator repayments off in your account settings? It's Nitroflare that should go it doesn't even work for myself in UK I'm with ISP BT all I get is "This site can't be reached" nitro.download refused to connect. For me Uploaded links work fine as well as Katfile. Though I'm renewing my Rapidgator premium membership again for 6 months, as I also agree their links do not get DMCA takedowns such as Uploaded.

Uploaded doesn't even load with my ISPs (tried 4). RG works flawlessly, only problem is less free leechers. Listen to me, switch to zippyshare

 

The reason why uploaders are dumping UL is that it has stopped paying uploaders. This started earlier this year, the payments from UL completely froze. Many DDL encoders have long dumped UL and may others following suite. I was surprised to see UL still being utilized on the sister site but it had to happen nonetheless and now it has.

I guess UL is winding up their business and now playing it fraud. They are just reaping what they can before the tab goes empty then it's 404

 

@ceo54 Personally I completely agree that no file hosting memberships should pay out royalties to uploaders who steal in the first place. The same as any other platform such as Youtube with people posting stolen content and expect to get paid per click. It's not right gaining from other peoples hard work. I especially get annoyed seeing completely free freeware/opensource software links to filehosting servers where uploaders gain per download, especially when they provide direct hyperlinks to the source sites of the freeware/opensource software they have deliberately stolen from on the same page as their links to gain from. Simply search freeware/opensource and it's available to anyone. There's plenty of fabulous freeware software out there and much more secure also using opensource software with access to their original sourcecode which gets checked and updated regularly by these wonderful developers.

get rid of these dumb filehosters all together honestly.

 

There will be nothing to download from the filehosting sites if what you suggest becomes true. Entire model will crash. And besides what's your take on these filehosting sites making money of the files uploaded by others?

 

linksnappy doesnt handle RG very well. sometimes LS picks up RG links just fine, but too often using LS gives you the same result as free RG. he even has issued rebate coupons in apology for RG before.

Everyone seems so concerned that this one will be faster than that one, or that one wont work as well as that one. I'm just thankful we have SO much stuff to be able to d/l ANYWHERE. It is very easy to forget sometimes just how lucky we as a community really are.

 

I would prefer zippyshare, clicknupload.cc, mega.nz and rapidgator (just to let the uploaders earn a little money , what of cause is the main reason for them to post anything)
For free users these times its nearly impossible to download as every new post have the "No mirrors allowed" setting activated, except the V.R. releases. And when you try to download a 10GB library from certain developers after you downloaded 50%, you can be sure that files got deleted from uploaded or rapidgator.

 

@Graf that's why I only ever do direct premium membership to the most popular used hosting service Rapidshare. I just do not trust multiple file hosters such as linksnappy leaching sites etc. @ceo54 I don't agree in any money being made from stolen shared files. Yeh you can say I'm a hypocrite because I steal cracked software myself though I never do to make profit from I'm just grateful to the crackers and original suppliers for giving us the opportunity to try before we buy for a greater extended time period.

 

I just wish whatever they choose to replace UL with, it too accepts paysafecards as payment method, cause RG does not. Paysafecards are very convenient and what's better there is a store 50 meters away from my house that sells them.
