i watched so many tutorials...is it worth it?

 

What's the protection for this one, they say you don't need to be online to use it, but can you also just activate it with a key or serial completely offline?

 

Yes! Especially at the price of $19.99. It is an excellent DAW for mixing in my experience. 32c offers a few more features but at a higher cost to wallet & systems resources.

Cool, so it's completely offline, like Reaper. Love it! Will give this a try then.
Do you think this DAW has much of a future? I honestly never encountered people online who use this a lot. Seems like a small time project, although apparently Harrison has a good rep when it comes to hardware consoles. But I don't know much about the history of the software DAW itself.

PS I just realized this is only the 'small' version of Mixbus, apparently there's a 32C version of it which is fully featured.

I remember seeing that video and feeling disappointed, imagine buying such a piece of software and then a stock EQ is literally exactly the same lol

 

The magic with Mixbus is the cumulative effect of channels & busses. The internal dynamics & saturation various levels of audio coloration & density.
