i got a screen recording where the audio signal is recorded twice, one directly via microphone, one processed twice by obs due to enabled monitoring. Sounds like i've added a one-shot delay due to recording latency.

I know there was a plugin/standalone tool that removes delay but can't remember it's name. Anyone?

 

Zynaptiq Unveil plugin, if the delay is long enough, try noise gate or audio cut at the end of the wave.

Yeah, that was the one i had in mind but didn't remember the name. Thank you! (Btw, you always have very informative and heplpful replies here, i like that!)

 

So both mics recorded on the same audio file?

Unveil is probably the way to go. I've tried other de-verberate plugins but Unveil beats them all IMO .

 

Yeah, just a bit time shifted due to latency. So someone talks, and this gets repeated a bit later just like a one time delay.

 

Would you mind uploading a short sample where the effect is audible? It's an interesting challenge, I'd like to give it a try.
