There are just over two weeks to Christmas, it makes no sense to talk about releases now that the most awaited moment of the year is about to arrive. If R2R has promised EW, I'm sure it will come, although personally UVI libraries are much more important and flexible than EW products. So already having UVI Complete Catalogue is a huge win. It is useless now to talk about new big releases when in a few days we will have Christmas and New Year.

Uhm, EW products sound very cheap in 2021, maybe in 2010 they could have been gold for rookies, but today they are inferior to many modern Kontakt libraries. It is obvious that if you produce music with Airpods, it is normal for EW to sound better in your opinion

Yeah, as i told before this is simply too much of data that for sure has no huge impact on my musical work anyway. Much more sounds than i'd ever use. What i've learned is that with less possibilities the creativity factor raises and vice versa. I love the way i could create sounds with falcon's synth abilities and experiment with them, but for EW i surely would end up in using given presets, kinda boring.

 

So true.. it's better to be prudent and make the most of what we have than being anxious for something that big to arrive, download and use.. unless it's like someone posted on another thread where they jokingly said they got signed up by Universal Records, these aren't going to just increase one's creativity.

Creativity comes first! We can always make room for the tools in time..
