I use Clip gain, but not the clip gain line, the automation lanes work for adjusting volume in certain spots of a track, usually the only thing I use the automation lanes for is vocals.....

 

Upon thinking about this, in theory, you could keep using the free trial, after 30 days just make a new email, register it with ilok and avid, you can use a free vpn to change your ip and just keep using it.......lol, mine is up 12/13/21, I will try this method after that and update here

well, and what has changed since version 12.5: performance, sound engine ???? Because I don't see any reason to update just because of the dark mode and another interface. Am I missing something else?

Well, in regards to the R2R version, it's missing a lot of the things in 12.5, HEAT, beat detective, clip gain line, VCA faders, and that's just what I know so far, it's just First with more features unlocked

there is at least one big reason why 2021.6+ PT is so HOT right now in comparison to the old 12.5 HD.

No, it's not just many performance optimizations, dark theme, folders, plugin search feature, easier routing, more tracks/voices...

It's the Side-chain Automatic Delay Compensation.
Yes, that's right. This feature (prior to 2021.6) was exclusive to PT HDX (hardware version). Now the Native version has it, and I will not even bother to try to explain how important that change is - seeing that some people on this forum don't care about clip gain either.

But, I think R2R are aware of that tipping point, and that's why we have all these news.

2021.7 Ultimate is really the ultimate DAW, as far as I am concerned.

I just wish they would go ahead and release the full crack, if they have it, I don't have any use for all this UVI stuff on the sister site....

 

Your 8 bar loops sound the same in Fruity loops as it does in Pro Tools Ultimate, so stop the whining and make some music with what you've got.

Hello. It's been 30 days since you tried this to enable a few more features in Pro Tools R2R 2021. Something happened with the license. Everything remains the same? I would appreciate your answer.

 

I had to go back to the R2R crack, I couldn't register under a different account name

 

Works great using standard pt ilok acct. Recently updated an old ilok perpetual pt 10 ilok license with 1 year support to get ilok to 2021.12 which will also unlocks R2Rs 2021.7. Woot!! installed on Win 10 update 1909. It does not require update 21H1. Installing Eucon will break this fabulous gift from R2R. It does look like 21H1 may have much better audio latency than 1909 according the LatencyMon. Could not use predecrypted channelstrip, eqiii or elastic audio R2R files. Using these 3 threw errors or blank plugin screens. Best gift since PTHD12.5 from AU 5 years ago!!!! New perpetual ilok upgrade also included a year subscription to Heat. Clip gain line, bounce, import, vca all working. Sure having to use the ilok is a bummer but this gift totally rocks — but no Eucon. Thank you R2R!!
