Kit released V1 in the summer and not long ago V2.
People are raving about it on GS, but then again this is nothing new as we have seen many products create hype.

To me V 1.1 sounded very natural, no veil, easy to sculpt a good sound out of it but the GUI was a joke.
    Your thoughts?

I haven't tried it as of yet, but that analog hum button and three levels of associated volume make me go...hmmm on the hummm!

    Oy veh.

This MF needs to be cracked. The developer is an ass. I can provide all file and license necessary to achieve this. :dunno:

I have always enjoyed this plugin & found that the GUI bugs disappeared at resolutions higher than 1366 x 768.
Tried the V2 demo and found it to be better coded in operation & sound. It is just resource heavy but, gives UAD type sonic performance natively. I'm sure the UAD plugins would be just as resource heavy natively.

If the price drops, I would consider adding to mixing plugin arsenal.

It sounds good, almost at the same level as a Nebula EQ, but it's waaaay to CPU hungry. I have never tried a Nebula library or Aqua plug-in thats even half the CPU hog than this one is.

From what I remember when testing it in Plugin Doctor, it did have the same problem as many older Nebula libs, namely the "chirp". If they got rid of this, and drastically reduced the CPU usage, it could be a great plug-in.

Can you explain chirping? I mean i think i know what you mean but can you be more specific?

Its a convolution/algo plugin. EQ section is convolution, preamp is algo, if not mistaken.

Yes, 1.1 is almost too hungry.

Strange grouchy opinions here. The developer has been responsive on GS and the plugin itself rocks. It's also pretty affordable and had a discount for weeks. Bought it and it's CPU-friendly with Ableton.

I haven't tested the new N105 V2 (tried the v1) but some Nebula emulations will give a metallic sound when driven super hard. My guess is that what he meant

Ok now i know what you mean. Metallic, sort of ring, whistling?

I did not encounter it though while demoing.

    I didn't come across this with v1.1.

That would explain the strange freq behaviour.

Takes as much as two TDR Nova each with three bands in dyn mode here - and that's pretty much.

Can be useful at times, has a unique sound, but I wouldn't use it as my standard EQ.
