We definitely need some new rules on the "Sister-Site" concerning the creation of mirrors. I'm really annoyed by the reupload behavior of some users/suppliers. The whole UVI Falcon libraries are gone, the HOFA plugins are completely offline etc. I can understand that the uploaders also want to get their expenses back, but this should be done after a short time, since people usually download all the releases they want pretty quickly.
In my opinion, mirrors should be allowed automatically after 1 week, so that things remain available.
As it is at the moment, it's really just annoying. Even if you have a premium account with a hoster, what you want is guaranteed right there already deleted. Also the fact that we here allegedly voted at some point that uploaded.net and rapidgator links are to be created here in any case, which now coincidentally offer the worst performance for free users, should be reconsidered.

Aye, RG and UL need to be reconsidered, affiliate programs or not. But if the uploader prohibits mirrors, then there shouldn't be any. Both with scene releases and sister site exclusives, albeit for different reasons.

My suggestion is that archive files larger than 499MB should be posted in several parts, so that we can use free premium leeching services.

 

That is the reason I download older releases from 'the audio scene' site not from sister site. They keep everything.

In my opinion, the situation is the worst with Uploaded.
Instead of showing an error already when copying the links, all links are said to work and in many cases - especially with very large downloads this is noticeable - the hourglass endlessly turns at two out of 50 files.
So you often have downloaded 20 GB and 1 GB is still missing which then causes the entire download to fail.

With a slow internet connection this means a whole day of downloading for no avail.

 

You can avoid this by using JDownloader, as it checks availability immediately after you copy the links. But nevertheless the situation is really annoying. Also posting mirrors like filefactory.com is completely senseless when they only allow download for premium users. As rule 11 says "All links must be available for free download without a premium account!"

 

That's unfortunately not the case. JDownloader shows all the uploaded links to be up and running but you still cannot download them. There is no possibility to check if a file won't download unless you try to download it.

 

That's the problem: I do use JDownloader. Maybe I didn't say that clearly enough....
JD checks the links. They are taken into the download list and are still called ok. But they can not be downloaded (hourglass). There is also no error message displayed a la "hoster problems" etc.. The hourglass only turns endlessly. This happens exclusively with uploaded.
(I double checked it: Even if the download failed after many hours @300 Kbytes/h , and I tried to DL the whole package again, all files were reported ok by UL falsely)

On the other hand, the problem could be easily solved by posting several real mirros. Then you can replace the affected files only in the packages.

Thats a specific problem at uploaded.net. I also hat the problem a few times. But if you discover this problem in JDownloader just click on "Open link in Browser" then the peeplink will open and you can open the link directly at uploaded.net. Then the download will work. I also have no idea what exactly the problem is with this never ending hourglass in JDownloader, but open the link directly at uploaded.net will work.

 

Unfortunately true. I've had the same problems for so many months and i cant understand whats happening. I've used uploaded for way more than a decade regularly and it always worked great but for months now, I pay for premium Service that is actually useless. This can happen for a Day or 2 but it's a joke that they've been leaving it like this for months already. This doesnt feel like premium.
As for the problem with the sister site, i'm with you. I have the same problem. A slow internet connection and a demand for a lot of Stuff that already went down. Back in the Day you could avoid that by importing the links to uploaded, so you had 10 days to download them even if they went down (only without jdownloader via ul surface directly) but with the current Situation on uploaded, thats not gonna save us, cause thats useless if you have one or more files that you just cant download due to the ul problem. And if it already went down on other filehosters you wont be able to complete it.
For a long long time i've already been thinking that we need another place for only for trusted members cause within the last years, Stuff is going down so quick, you cant even finish most kontakt libraries, if you have a slow internet. 4-5 years ago, I was able to finish my Downloads even if they were like 300gb. Now I just dont have a chance. I download 100gb and then it goes down Due to dmca and I can delete it.
We really need to find a Solution for this problem

 

Thanks for the tip. For me, jDownloader says "Server cannot be reached". Is the link dead now? Every now and then he manages to do it and still downloads it. Sometimes it doesn't make it and you have to laboriously download as a free user from Rapidgator or even more slowly from DDownload.

 

Not for me, If I do so, I'll click on premium download on uploaded (if it even loads the page) but the download wont Start. Tried this Several times. I can click on premium download 1000 times

 

Not quite correct. When uploaded get a takedown notice and deleted the files also your files at your own account will be deleted, because they have the same Hash value. And unforunately there's also no way to reup the same files again. They have to be repacked and all your downloads that are already finished are useless.

 

Believe me, I did this many times. I copied the links and imported them to my acc. After they went down i wasn't able to find the links anymore, it said "the requested file isnt available anymore" and you cant copy them to jdownloader but you can still Access them from your account. At least that worked 6 months ago. Dont know if thats been changed now.
Saved me many times when Stuff went down before i could finish it. Thats one reason i usually prefer ul

Edit: of course you have to copy the links to your account before they go down. When they already went off, its too Late

Well, FWIW, it was a total waste of money paying for HyperDebrid for a month. It was only five quid, but I've not been able to download a single file from any host (and I've tried a good half a dozen or more). I've tried on several different computers with different operating systems and in different browsers. It's just absolutely useless and I emailed support but I doubt I'll hear back from them. Oh well, lesson learned.

I should have taken out the slightly more expensive Rapidgator sub, but I'll do that next time. Little point now as most of the links seem to be dead on all hosts. I'm not in any rush anyway and this is all just an experiment for me. It's been an education anyway as this is the first time I've ever felt the need to grab libraries of this size.

I'm happy with what I've already grabbed so I'm not complaining. Though it seems others are having problems even after paying the sub for Rapidgator. I'll hold off for now until things level out a bit.

 

i have never had that problem with real-debrid, and it is cheaper too. and i've never had any problems downloading files hosted by uploaded using real-debrid. i use jdownload with real-debrid for multi-link downloads and i just use their chrome add-in for single files because it is easier. either way, i have never had the problems that people are describing in this thread.

but, i completely agree with the idea of allowing mirrors after a set time period. i don't know if a week is long enough, so i will leave that discussion up to the rest of you.
