Imo, if there were Pro Tools and UAD on BF R2R it would undoubtedly be the biggest shock of all time. I think the oceans would open too ... But I don't think it will, too good to be true ahahahah
if that happens (not even protools, just uad), the biggest teams of the history of the scene will be proud....
Yeah, kind of a great gift to consecrate the warez story itself. Totally agree. For me, releasing UAD is something unimaginable, but R2R are omnipotent witches, perhaps they will be able to generate their most powerful spell.

Last tin-foil hat theory… They have reversed UAD and found the hardware is key for the licensing, but have found a way to port the plug-in code to native. You need to have an emu of the TI chips to “authorise” the plug-in, but the actual processing can be done natively, so it turns out all the DSP shit is actually only beneficial on very old machines and the UAD hardware (aside from the interface) is just a big dongle. So an open source emu of the chip is needed to run as a background service to call the licence part, but then you have a cracked local server that signs out the licence, the emu of the chip that validates the licence, but all the audio stuff is actually really lightweight and runs on natively. Solved it, thank you, off to bed… (only half joking here)
Probably few will support, but i hope R2R won't forget to crack the new and updated MAAT & Softube plugins as appetizer between releases AA, UAD, Sonnox, DAWbyR2R and rocket launch Falcon10 in collaboration with SpaceX xD

So in a parallel universe they just edited the binary code, and stripped UAD's hardware layer + iLok layer + License layer off the plugs.. and left it smooth like a baby's ass, for the ultimate user-friendliness Some of the Sonnox stuff is good indeed (EQ/Inflator?), but wtf are they thinkin keeping that uber Dated UI? That makes it more + less deserving of an egg crack at the same time.. As for MAAT.. I wouldn't want to be impolite, but I think their stuff is a sheer disrespect to Maat, goddess of Truth..

Nexus (R2R release) and UVI bundles on the leaked list? This for me means replacing with a 4tb ssd. Anyway, I'm amazed that R2R broke the UAD. I hate UAD's clever sale policy, but this will result in a lot of people losing a lot of money.
