T-Racks won't authorize anymore

    Had 5.51 R2R working for a while.. tried to install 5.6 R2R nothing authorizes anymore. Tried to go back to 5.51 .. nothing.

    any suggestions would be appreciated.

    i always had the same problem with R2R & IKmultimedia ...so i decided to delete it and dont use it anymore ...

    There are only a certain number of directories, files and registry entries that can be added, removed or modified.
    Making sure to remove all potential folders and registry entries is the best way to go.

    Also of course, make sure you use a firewall that always asks your permission to allow connection for anything that attempts to connect, and disable your antivirus when using keygens. If you use windows defender with default settings, it will normally alert you if it intercepts a keygen, but others may not, and even Defender may not, depending on settings.

    One can use a program like Revo uninstaller to monitor installs for best chances of completely cleaning all files & settings.
    Looking at the entries from my 5.6.0 install may reveal some old registry location, but the better way would be to use Revo uninstaller to install your old 5.51 again, then uninstall it using Revo uninstaller to perhaps clean up well.
    Then install the 5.6.0 and cross fingers.

    IK.Multimedia.T-RackS.5.Complete.v5.6.0.Incl.Keygen (DATE : 2021.10.12)

    Installation for Windows

    1.) Un-install T-Racks (C: \ Program Files \ IK Multimedia \ T-RackS 5) use the "unins000"
    2.) Deactivate the antivirus software and close all programs who run alongside
    3.) Click "Setup.exe" and select VST3

    4.) Use the keygen
    a. Select "IK Multimedia T-RackS CS v5.6.0"
    b. Press "Automatic registration (Windows)"
    c. Press "Exit"

    5.) Scan for new plugins (C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\IK Multimedia)

    Revo unisntaller pro, make sure to delete registry and hidden files as well.

    How would y'all compare Revo Uninstaller to IObit Uninstaller? I've been using IObit for quite some time now but the free version keeps getting packed with more and more bloatware.

    I have never used IObit, but i was just looking at some other thread where they say "Google IObit" as they had a data breach.
    Not that it would affect their software.
    Anyway, I have uninstalled a few things that I installed using Revo, but also I like that it logs all the install stuff so you can see what happened on install.
    ohhh.. and I am using a version I got on a "Friendly Site" (located on the left bottom of Sister Site's web page)

    So,
    I uninstalled using Revo Pro.
    Removed all junk left over in registry.
    Anti-Virus off... Offline (no internet)
    Re-Installed 5.6, applied patch (Automatic Registration Windows).
    .. Still un-authorized! ugh.
    Any Suggestions?

    FYI, try Geek Uninstaller, small, flexible, fast and even better than Revo/IObit etc ..

    I think you misunderstood.
    While REVO MIGHT find leftovers from old installs, this is different.
    So, you want to uninstall whatever is installed now.

    Then, USE REVEO to INSTALL the OLD 5.51 so that REVO can track whatever is done on install.
    When saving the install, it will suggest a name. you might add "5.51" to that.
    THEN, once done with install, look at "Traced Programs" button on the left and use that to UNINSTALL.
    It may remove some old things that were not removed before.

    Then you can try installing the new version.
    (You might use REVO to install the new version as well, for the same purpose later on.)

    Thanks for the suggestion.. just tried it your way i.e. traced install using Revo and uninstalled using traced programs, both 5.51 and 5.60
    Still no go.

    i'm annoyed when i read this BEAT because i'd like to see straightforward, reliable guidance.
    would you say.."paulster, i'd like to modify my response, R2R always stress you shouldn't have to contact any online server with their work"?

    I kinda figured that, that's why I wasn't online to begin with. I do, however, appreciate any suggestions.
    Thanks to all, still doesn't work though.

    @Pronto You are welcome to take over the problem and try to solve it. Read the NFO and follow the R2R installation instructions. With version 5.6.0 there is no NFO. That's why I wrote it. The installation of T-racks works for almost all users. Some errors are user errors and other errors are based on errors in the operating system. Sometimes faulty hardware drivers.
    Hello paulster44, maybe this will help:

    1.)
    In order to be able to install and uninstall IK Multimedia products on
    your Windows computer, you must be a user with Administrator rights.

    Activate admin account (Windows 11, 10, 8 and 7)
    Via command prompt

    The quickest and easiest way to activate the admin account in Windows is with the command prompt:
    1. Press the key combination [Windows] + [R] to open the Run window.
    2. Type in cmd, but not yet confirmed.
    3. Now hold down the two [Ctrl] + [Shift] keys and confirm with [Enter] at the same time.
    4. Confirm the message with "Yes" to open the command prompt with administrator rights.
    5. Enter the command net user administrator / active: yes and confirm with [Enter].
    6. Optional: Sets a password for the admin account with the command:
    net user administrator PASSWORD. Enter your desired password instead of PASSWORD.

    Installation/Authorization Manual
    4 1 - Installation Select the IK Multimedia product you want to uninstall, and right-click then click uninstall.
    All the components will be removed from your system. If you added or changed files after the installation, it may be that some
    files and folders are not removed. You may delete them manually from the destination folder you selected during installation.

    Uninsstall / Delete
    C:\Program Files\IK Multimedia\AmpliTube 5
    C:\Users\YourName\Documents\IK Multimedia
    C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\IK Multimedia
    Registry: Carry out - Regedit
    Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\IK Multimedia\TRacks
    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JBridge

    IK Multimedia Releases [Windows]
    01.Uninstall previous versions.
    02.Install the software.
    03.Run our keygen.
    04.Select a product.
    05.Push "Automatic Registration (Windows)".

    Thank you so much for taking the time to help.
    I followed you instructions to the letter.. (I'm very experienced in commuters and audio systems so all this is familiar)
    Still, the plugins show as unauthorized.
    I'm sorry, and I really appreciate your help.
    I see that Mac users received 5.8 Maybe when it comes out for PC it will help.

    Hello Paulster,

    I had the same problem even if my user account was Administrator.
    I solved it by installing it directly IN Administrator account (unlocked with BEAT16 procedure and selected in Change user after crtl+alt+sup).
    Then if it's still not authorize in your user account.
    From Administrator account registry, export IK multimedia keys under CurrentUser/software/ikmultimedia and import it in you user account registry.
    I also copy ik multimedia files under documents and appdata in Administrator and paste it under my user account.
    Everything works fine now (amplitube 5.8 and t-racks 5.3)

    By the way... I fixed it this way.
    Very simple,
    I just opened "Authorization Manager" from start menu - "IK Multimedia" folder, offline registration, saved auth file and registered ,with keygen , the old fashioned way.. (i.e. not with the automatic button)
