Well I am decent enough to apologise for misreading it, so I apologise for the misinterpretation.
You have to admit though, the amount of unnecessary crap thrown at the dev is astounding.
Granted, he picked the wrong forum to post this on, but it's unnecessary. :)

Well if anything he proved he's a responsive individual,
who involves himself with his work at all levels..

One may like/dislike his products, or his biz management,
but he's here addressing it first-hand..

I don't personally have a dog in this race,
I don't use any of AA's products, and I don't think I will ever need to..

I tried to try a leaked Nebula compressor, long time ago,
but I found it difficult to set up, not particularly better than regular plugs,
yet too CPU demanding to justify its use.. so I just deleted it

I like the Concept of the tech,
but the OCD in me kinda prefers a more standard wrapped candy.

There's already enough complication in Composing/Producing itself,
so I use more regular/well regarded stuff, so I can sleep at night..

Of course not. Using a pseudonym is funnier, but doesn't necessarily hide the identity behind it.
My full real name is Zeno Bock. I have no problem giving my identity here. A maximum of 5 minutes of research could have provided anyone with this information. What added value does this information offer you? Does it make me more credible now? :dunno:

Got to have passion to reply for pages on end when nothings even happened.

Have to have burning passion when nothing can happen because the forecast is humid in our outhouse pc case anyways.
Black Friday is coming up but some people around here are still wearing their Win XP New Years glasses.

    thank you!
sometimes I confess to you that it is very hard and difficult. I've been attacked for years, in every way possible, and it's hard to keep my nerves together after investing so much time and work.
I'm the kind of guy who values user comments more than the bank account, and when I feel the interest has waned I will simply move on to simpler and more profitable activities. Before doing this I was doing non-relational databases. It's easier to manage the product user, because they're all programmers. In this world of plugin movements they think we are building weapons of mass destruction, we are corrupt, unclear, stupid, arrogant, and this week I read even worse.
In the end we write trivial software (with sometimes many problems: Apple changes things every two seconds, it's hard to keep up in an extremely competitive market, users sometimes prefer to insult you even for a free product that doesn't work or a wrong demo).
Then I have to put my face on it, I have to expose myself directly, and honestly I would rather do other things. These days I have employees, salaries to pay, a lot of problems between taxes, COVID management, things that don't work, technologies that become obsolete too soon, and an extremely volatile and irascible market.
There are days when a message from users encourages us to do better, to fix one more problem, to find new solutions, to try to make things sound better. Lately, those days outnumber the bad days, and that's an impetus to keep going, to do our best.

I will always support a company that puts that much heart into a product like this. :mates:

Giancarlo, even though I argue with you about some of your decisions, I respect you for your work. It is cool that I can discuss with CEO what I don't like. It is great that you always give a detailed answer. I like you as a person and understand your business model but as a customer, I believe that I have the right to express my discontent. I know sometimes me or Will can be rude but you are no picnic either. And fix the meter at least, please! Here, for sure, I can demand to fix something that doesn't work in the product that I bought. It is ridiculous that how much time has passed since the release of N4 and there are still problems with the meter!

Just keep doing what you're doing! No plugin is perfect and you will never satisfy every single person! I personally like using your products and will continue using them in the future! The only complaint I would have is that they are quite resource heavy so I can't use them as much as I've wanted to, but hopefully sometime in the future this won't be an issue no more (yes I know upgrading my computer can be a "fix" lol).

I think it's really cool the CEO is actually active here replying to comments. I have been getting away from using illegitimate software as I got tiered of taking what I could get, instead of getting what I want, and it made me not appreciate what I had, I stopped learning my tools. Call it a guilty conscience, I now have been getting what I can afford and Acustica's White 3 and Sienna is definitely on that list, especially after seeing how Giancarlo has navigated this thread of tricky and technical comments/replies. I really enjoyed your Coffee 'The PUn plugin. It is one of the few pultecs I've used that really does something special to the sound that I have never heard before. Cheers!

Yes as far as guts goes.
And what product of yours that you spent months developing are you defending WHILE naming yourself as the dev on a forum full of people who probably stole it? That's definitely going into the lion's den. Then yes it would make you more gutsy as someone who stood by their product and their beliefs when nearly everyone you are replying to takes delight in trying to tear you down. Removing barriers to privacy in an age where there is precious little is not something people do with the amount of nutjobs there are out there these days. You have guts no argument. But I would not search for your name if I wanted it. I would PM you and do it with courtesy, by asking you in private and respect it if you chose not to. I also would not search for it if you chose not to give it. That is almost stalking to me - old school. :)

Honestly, there are some really good musicians, engineers and some good people here, even some devs, some really good apparently. Like any place, the polar opposite exists too and here, in more abundance. Truthfully, you are better off going onto a professional forum that has membership fees no slant on this site intended and one with other devs on it mainly. You are more likely to encounter people who have purchased 80% of their software, not the other way around.

Well, some of the products I've worked on or collaborated on ARE on the sister site. It's not cool, but I can live with that.
Yes, you definitely have a point here! Criticism? That's fine. Jokes at someone else's expense? Yeah, why not. Don't be a sissy.
Serious personal attacks? Just no! The target of a personal attack is always a human being with feelings.

I am not a sissy at all.. I see no point in bullying anyone. Cowards do that. If you think some people haven't, it's a big thread, I certainly do not want to reread it all but it definitely is there and posts in case you have not noticed have been removed. "A human being with feelings".
That's an interesting comment. I see people often who do not agree with others and instead of someone being a human and intelligent enough to say they are neither better or worse, just different, they shit on them because they lack the awareness to know the difference. Not in your case, but definitely in a lot. The human condition is too large to put into a single box. Otherwise we'd all look, think and feel the same.

Just a question and out of respect for the privacy of the person who told me I won't name them. Did you at any point send a message to your legit users that could be misconstrued as a threat at any time indicating that if they chose to test any software first for more than 30 days using a hacked version they would be penalised for doing so and their legitimate purchases would be invalidated?

The only reason I am asking is because if you did this, threatening anyone is never a good thing, it achieves nothing but a middle finger from many people these days. Asking someone to not do something is drastically different to threatening someone with repercussions.
Alternatively, some companies do not threaten at all and simply invalidate the license with a server message apparently.
However, if you did threaten some people, surely you would have expected to cop shit?

You also could always extend your trial to 60 days. While that may not be good for you, I am saying that whatever you choose, threatening is definitely not something you should put on the table right or wrong.
