Sir Giancarlo, I think you should take a break, maybe a little vacation.
If R2R were to give you some unpleasant surprises, don't take it, it is impossible today to compete against R2R, something that goes beyond you developers. Make a takedown request and that's OK. Things will continue as before, and indeed, maybe you will become even more famous.

This Black Friday, however, I will pass on his store, will Gainstation 2 and Diamond Eq3 be heavily discounted? I would be interested in buying them in a few days.

I'm preferring the use of eq moves actually. Then de-essing after with weiss master softening preset

The smoothness of professional vocals are something else though

If people are not interested in legally or illegally owning AA than why do some people keep posting they hate it?
Their minds hate it but their hearts want it, lol.

Agreed every single word. Cracking is inevitable. My reply is because there is my name in this thread.
I guess I'm popular (and sometimes hated) than what my wife thinks.
Thank you for your kind words

Dear Giancarlo sir, please keep us entertained in this thread and don’t stop teasing us as we wait for BF. Feel free to ignore ‘nebula must have’ and ‘acqua general discussion’ threads in the other (lesser) forum where your paying customers are at

Your presence in this thread could have deepen the subject: will piracy actually boost sales? Will piracy increase word-of-mouth and overall market awareness? Such questions are an often-discussed dilemma which I find very interesting.

instead it is not going like this
Your point of view has no empathy with your potential customers, it seems that you are only interested in generating psychological terrorism
    Your point is:
"If you crack my product you will go to hell"

I remember an interesting interview with the CEO of Ableton (I can't find the link now), he stated that piracy helped a lot the spread of his software: the involuntary advertising generated by the crack versions allowed the company to then acquire many new users, which after a while, then returned to legality.
This is a fundamental point: by penalizing crack users you are throwing away this investment
Maintaining your reactionary stance on this thread is suicidal: try to understand the point of view of the participants here (they are often very young and not yet audio professionals). Try to see the crack version of your software as an alternative trial version - imagine that R2R is helping your company generate future customers
Given your attitude, I'm sure this strategy is a little too far ahead for you, in this case do yourself a favor: better say nothing. It's better to keep quiet to avoid damaging your business even more.

On a side note here: I'm a miserable ass dude, most of the plugins I managed to buy were DRM free, last one was the rx950. Fun thing is: you're right, DRM stuff often get off the radar, iirc theres only an old version (from 2018) of rx950 on sister site. I tested it for a while and bought it once it was on sale with a price I could pay.

Valve's Gabe Newell Says Piracy Is a Service Problem - The Escapist (escapistmagazine.com)

“We think there is a fundamental misconception about piracy. Piracy is almost always a service problem and not a pricing problem,” he said. “If a pirate offers a product anywhere in the world, 24 x 7, purchasable from the convenience of your personal computer, and the legal provider says the product is region-locked, will come to your country 3 months after the US release, and can only be purchased at a brick and mortar store, then the pirate’s service is more valuable.”

While it's most definitely a service problem, it can also be a pricing problem for people with low income or from third-world countries. Or both. Especially both.

Because it isn't cracked and therefore they can't own it, even if it's for playing around.
Happens with Nexus, Cubase.. you name it

it is, you're right, I know it first hand, haha. But among the plugins and companies I can buy stuff from, service and transparency always influence my decisions. DRM free, no weird copy protection models, no weird install software, etc (basically anything that steinberg implements, for example), are things I usually look for. Only software that I have with ilok virtual protection is Trash 2 (just because I love it so much and got it for 9 dol) and Phoenix Verb that I got for free once (can let that pass, it was free after all).

That's kinda how it went for me. Started off using pirated versions and eventually purchased all the things I liked and use a lot. It's strange that some devs would rather nuke that userbase if they use cracked versions. Just don't offer support to those users. Simple. Not everyone can afford their products and the ones who eventually can, will get them. Anyway, here's some proof:

As an aside, @giancarlo, Sienna is amazing. When are we gonna get an updated DT-880 Pro profile? That profile is really lacking bass.

Also, have more frequent sales! I almost never buy anything at full price.
