One knob is cringe, sure, and every waves plugin is replacable at this point, but I'd rather just crack Mercury than install a bunch of different shit

Pretty interesting, I always wanted to try Nomad's stuff, I know Pensado uses them too for example.

I'm gonna mention an EQ too, PSP's NobleQ is my go to Pultec because I did a shootout and it was exceeding in all three, sound quality & CPU consumption & latency.

Thats the reason why its a secret plugin. Because most people dont tend to trust and use either one knob or waves plugins. less exposure and popularity, but dosent mean its guaranteed to sound bad.

you can have the best plugins and monitors in the world, and they will be of no help to you if you don't use your ears and/or have nothing of interest to say musically. I'm trying not to sound harsh, this is a universal truth! .... but seems to be the best kept secret of all
