It looks like an unknown transparent layer covers the face of the moon instead of just the "earth's shadow" : ) but well
I dont normally comment on these speculative posts (because I fear such posts will annoy the likes of R2R and make us look like greedy kids) But I thought I would just say - This reminds me of when Reason was cracked over 2 months ago and everyone was running over to the Reason Studios Site to see what Rack Extensions they were going to try What makes people think they are getting EVERYTHING We got 20 or so Rack Extensions from a few companies, then that was it (Hopefully more will come at Christmas, but I will only be checking out what we get not what might get (one day)) I provided lots of my legit Rack Extensions to be converted but still haven't had any 'Cracked' or 'converted' to work with the R2R release. I have some EW that I can provide for 'cracking' too but only a small few, So yes, happy wishing to R2R Santa but as its always been at Christmas - You Get What Your Given & Don't Complain or Expect Everything (or you might get a lump of coal if your naughty)
A big part of the Reason RE Extensions are pretty cheesy. Almost all major racks have already been released by R2R
I dont think EW will be thinking they are getting lots of people suddenly interested. Im sure by now and probably by yesterday, EastWest will know that they have been cracked and will be treating all traffic as CRACK RELATED. So, to be honest, I would be using a VPN to mask your IP when visiting EW and not buying at the moment, as Im sure they will be more than aware of the situation. I might be Paranoid but that doesn't mean they aren't watching me
I wish that was true. There is lots of 'major racks' that haven't been released. As a previous Reason user, I can say most of Propellorheads rack that were released were FREE (well part of the package) of 1 version of Reason or another from version 4 to 12 (including the point 5 releases) they gave different 'major racks' with the release, to encourage people to buy and only 50% of even those have been released on the sister site. They released Rob Papen & Synapse stuff (but we already had most of them in VST form already). I could name many, many Not 'cheezy' REs that havent been released (yet)
The same my friend...when steven slate, ssl, reason came out I didn't say anything just clicked the thanks button and no more but I think these new releases deserve some kind of mini "celebration" and excitement coz Its been more than a ...decade : ) hahah sometimes is so hilarious how the masses act when these hot plugins appear, there are 2 or 3 plugins more left to come (uvi, spitfire, ot, soundpaint) so lets expect more posts and comments about crack releases
everything will be fine if R2R managed to put together a release! Last edited by a moderator: Nov 19, 2021
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a full Pro Tools release, I have a feeling what we've seen so far was just a teaser.....
I admit, I have a composer cloud subscription at East West (the cheaper one for about 20€), since I plan to make money with it, so an EW Release would not be of interest for me, only if the Plugins run smoother than the original. What I am personally looking for is to test out UVI Falcon, if it is hopefully part of the big Gong.
@Joe Crisp - Apparently you are a very big fan of professional music! I wish you good luck from the bottom of my heart, I hope you will be glad! @Chaindog - You have nothing to worry about! you will get more than you can take home) If you are interested and consider yourself curious about music ...
Might have already been covered in the thread, but what software DON'T you want to be released at "the gong", and why?
@halfman73 Any DAW doesn't need to be released for people ... but it does for industry development and promotion. (study is also possible) According to last year's poll of my personal friends, the most requested things to learn are: UVI and PARAWAVE, as well as non-algorithmic plugins based on Fourier varieties. (So let's say: "D) ** Please consider the fact, all my friends are pretty old ** more in demand are only the source codes of the software of some companies, which is unique in some way. @ phumb-reh I totally agree !, in fact - all theirs I think this is what I wanted to say, but if you do not understand, you can ask again, I do not write well in English. (
Btw, as for EW... I have installed almost all the big collections (except the ProDrums), and these are only the ones from the Composer Cloud X Version (with the close mics only). And these already needed about 1 TB of disk space. So I guess you make some room on your hard drives. If they gonna release it, it is gonna be a huge Gong.
@Chaindog - just a question if you can .... How much money have you made, comparable to a terabyte of sounds ?! I just can't imagine tearing my ass off like that .... is the game worth the candle? those that are not from hemors???... But maybe you just like this activity, so can it be ... if your spiritual preferences are aimed at music and the creation of the world of sounds ... so, of course, it can also be, which is also good ... It's not about the cabbage .. Last edited by a moderator: Nov 20, 2021
