Battery 4 "Render Cell in Place" not working

    Hi,
    Using Battery 4.0.2, previous 4.0.1, the render cell function doesn't do anything. It thinks about it but then nothing happens - any ideas?

    check documents/native instruments/battery 4/rendered audio

    Try launching the Console app (found in Applications/Utilities) after attempting to render. Often there will be error messages in the logs that'll give a clue as to what's failing.

    I'm on 10.6.8 and get this error on the Console get this message (and loads similar):

    and

    try in stand alone mode and see if you get the same problem.

    I have it working on XP SP3 but perhaps a Mac user would be so kind as to assist joda with his inquiry.
