49 or 61 keys?

    61 keys in many pieces are not enough, 76 will suffice except the lowest, e.g. Debussy Clair de Lune, you can't play the lowest Eb in measure 15.

    I forgot: there are also folding 88k keyboards, I guess they are not really great in touch feel but they sure are wonderful for portability.

    True, but I've yet to try and learn anything that requires keyboard gymnastics. I play classical pieces more as an advanced, two-hand practice routine (and, I do obviously enjoy them,) and are far from my forte. No need for 61 keys over here, least not in the near future. :no:
    Besides, the decision was 49 vs 61, was it not? :rofl:

    more than 127 would be uninteresting unless you can split it across channels. ;)
