i think the person in this thread was trying to ask the same question but since they didn't provide any details or specifics the thread has become long dead without an answer.

the issue is with omnisphere's user audio import feature so you can import your own samples.

attempting to import audio with the correct codec/requirements causes omnisphere (and often times the entire DAW) to freeze and crash. reopening omnisphere and checking the user audio section after rebooting shows the file was not imported.

i've tested this on two systems running omnisphere 2.6 in ableton 11 on windows 10. this happens with all the different ways of importing shown in the article.

anyone know a fix?

 

why not update to 2.8 first? even if you show this to them as duplicatable, it's the first thing they will say.


first method is working. soundsource works. and drag and drop directly to granular is working. logic 10.5 OS 2.8.
