So I was trying to find NKS files for a library that didn’t come with any. I started to make my own files. After bout 10 minutes of making everything to my liking. I popped my created CineHarps folder into my Shared/NI Resources… I opened Komplete Kontrol and I noticed the image file was different than the one I made in the browser. I looked at the files closely & somehow Komplete Kontrol changed all the png files to the legit ones from Cinesamples… Has anyone ever had this happen to them?

 

Yes, I have experienced this. It seems the NKS image assets are updated periodically. I believe it happens sometimes when you open Native Access or update plugins/components. In some cases it has really helped me to source missing images that I didn't have, however if you have made custom images, good idea to back them up in case they get reverted to the default. Really seems to do it when it wants to as far as I can tell.

Can you try changing the access rights of your images to Read Only and see if KK is still doing its thing?
