Top down mixing...learnt what it is today..what are other method names?

    Top down mixing...learnt what it is today from vid below but anyway, my question is what are the other mixing method names that exist except top down?

    the new intro is creepy as hell , I saw other tutorials (not reaper related) of him and he speaks normally dont know why he continues with this personna

    It's a bit different from the top down mixing I'm used to, but it sounds very reasonable to me.
