Top down mixing...learnt what it is today..what are other method names?

    Top down mixing...learnt what it is today from vid below but anyway, my question is what are the other mixing method names that exist except top down?

    It's a bit different from the top down mixing I'm used to, but it sounds very reasonable to me.
