Donkey you say? Not too big then. But for those who've never worked with a real DAW it might be a great start, and then move on. You would be surprised how many people I know who tried it and never moved on! All of them. [I mean they stopped trying to make music and kept flipping burgers instead]. I have a feeling it's something people who think they're geniuses try and then they get disappointed. Well, try painting maybe? The worst painters these days get to be rich people. The style is important, which brings me to ixirmusic's comment.. but let's put that aside for the moment. It's a stinky subject.

Some of the synths in FL Studio are real gems. They have VSTs, thankfully, so you can use them in some proper DAW. There's plenty of them, laddie!

Oh well, I'm gonna spell it out for ya, though... v20.8.3 is hmmm it works as well as FL can work. In essence, get the latest version you can spit on. If you can't spit on it, get a nice good old v12.1.2 and see how it goes.

Sorry. The wine was really good today, and the sand-witches were succulent, if you know what I mean. I'm French in my heart, British in my mind. I've got Scottish legs, the rest is German. Humour? Lungs? Liver? Kidneys?

    Cheers!

p.s. there's a certain Russian tracker that can help you with acquiring both versions. Did I mention I drink like a Russian? I'm an international guy., the whole way. Internationalstein. :)

you can use the most expensive paint, paint brushes and canvas in the world but if you're a shitty painter you're gonna create shit that was really expensive and will be worthless in the end.

i know, but unfortunately that's not how it works with music, although getting noticed could very well be just as difficult. years ago before my first official release it annoyed the hell out of me when i would receive the monthly releases from a DJ-pool i was in, about 75% of it was pure shit, like really really bad 'why the fuck did they publish this??' shit. 9 out of 10 times it was just because they knew the right people at the right time, without that getting noticed is really difficult. i got my break because a band i was vj'ing for got signed and the labelboss was looking at the myspace-pages of the bandmembers. in the end i think i did like 50-60 live shows in about 6 years, starting with 7 audience members to 3-400 people going nuts at the wall of bass, before i got signed but it had nothing to do with it. it was just because i was in that other band that someone noticed me and wanted to publish my music.

20.8.3 by Team Audiowarez works just fine. No need for firewall blocks and stuffs. If you need to get rid of zhoupengfei name, just fill author name in project info

Why would you say FL Studio isn't a proper DAW? That hits so many bells.

Oh dear! You really just embarrassed yourself by becoming one of "those people," who foolishly try to disparage FL Studio as not a "real DAW" undoubtedly due to their own personal shortcomings and lack of competency using said software.

I suppose by extension of that same drunken logic, users of FL Studio would also not be considered "real musicians". What nonsense!

Any half-decent musician worth their salt, should be more than capable of creating great-sounding music with literally 'any' DAW these days. And if not, then the problem most 'squarely' lies with those 'individuals' themselves, "Sinewave."

Oh, what amateurs Ludwig van Beethoven and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart must have been back in their day, with not even a single computer to rely upon to compensate for their lack of raw natural talent. However did they manage to make incredible music?

A universal truth: "A bad workman always blames his tools" ... So stick to the booze and shouting at the moon. You'll make a lot more sense.

You should always block cracked software in your firewall, just to be sure.

Because he still thinks it's 2001 and all FL can do is stringing a bunch of loops together.

well put. i once saw in a FL forum how a very skilled sound designer created a crowd setting, complete with all the bussle of people, cars and city including sounds of people having coversations using only sytrus.
the dev challenged him to prove it, and then they agreed he was speaking the truth.
its still there in the thread, very long ago. that was remarkable talent.

what tool would you use to try to creating life like sounds? the answers may surprise you.

blocking a daw and blocking a vst are 2 different things, that is if you have a decent firewall
