I don’t think that will work as this is just a editor it doesn’t have any sounds on it . You have to physically connect the hardware to the plugin for it to produce a sound

 

Hey! Seems like a really cool project, especially for viruses prior to Ti, but I got a Ti, so what's the difference to the Virus TI VST?

 

It works with the virus ti also . I have a virus c xl rack so using the plugin saves me having to dig through knob and button combos to get to the patch edits I want to make . The version two of the mystery islands software is better it had a lot of improvements . One of the benifts to me is I can have all my virus patches loaded through the editor and not have to load each onto the virus itself . I have a lot of banks so it makes life easier to load up which bank I want with my patches . I have a few of there editors and they work great . As for what it offers to the ti software I don’t know the difference but I know jani from mystery island uses his own editor over the access virus software . I only got the editor because the access virus one that can with my c xl became obsolete after os9 that’s along time ago now . But using it kept my virus going for all these years I believe mine is 16years old now and still a great sounding piece of hardware . If you not 100% sure try the demo out . The only difference to real version is you can’t save patches and you can’t license the demo .

 

maybe the new version has a lot of fixes, but based on the older cracked Mac version; I'd never use it with a TI over the Virus Control plugin.
The developer wants his program to work with many models, which is great with the non-software integrated models/midi.

The Hydrasynth editor by Sigabort is probably closer example to what you would want with a TI. usb connectivity as top of the wishlist.

 

tc powecore is a virus b in dsp format it plays just the same fella im looking at how to connect this editor

 

That’s why I said I don’t think it will work to link the virus to the editor it has to be over midi to send the sounds from the hardware . I maybe wrong but I’m not sure how you’d go about doing it .
