Don't remember who said it before, but some acquaintances and myself had other issues with internet. Besides FB/IG/Whatsapp (let's name it WhatsShut to commemorate...)

I thought I lost internet in general at some point. I had to reset the router for first time in a long while and also restart my Android.

Could be related to that expiration of security certificates? I don't think so, who knows...

On a side note, I'm happy to report that Tinder worked like a charm. At least 7 girls more rejected me during the fall

Many websites implemented facebook integration. Just think about the most simple case, having a Like button on that site and if they wrote that page wrong, the failed connection to an element on the page can fail to complete loading the rest.
Besides, there are internet services with portal authentication where one of the options is Facebook login.
Even my Spotify used to be with my FB login (fortunately I have already changed it).

Why your router didn't work, perhaps the DNS servers were overloaded due to the unexpected chaos of traffic.

it's been years I've done without any of that garbage , I wish all advertisers would smarten up and cancel their FB ad accounts. One good thing without that crap is that now you have a lot more time to do worthwhile activities like composing, creating and meeting with friends in person. Just look at zuckerturd's face and you can see what he is.

If you want to rid these scumbag parasites of some of their ill gotten earnings, how about emailing advertisers and tell them you will never purchase anything from them if they don't cancel their ads on FB and the other questionable SM sites. I have friends whose kids were bullied, teased and harassed so much on these sites, that some of these kids started to cut and hurt themselves as they were so depressed from the bullying on FukBook. Young naive kids fall prey to trash and need to be protected because they are sometimes way too innocent and trusting.

We have a trained pedagogue for the young people in the school who teaches media skills.
In this way, the young people are sensitized and they learn to deal with the media.

It's like driving a car, you drive anyway, even though you know there are accidents, you trust that the seat belts and the airbag will prevent the worst. Technical things always have advantages and always disadvantages.
