How do you add nicnt Libraries in cracked Kontakt 6.6.1 (Windows)?

Sorry for the stupid question, but up until now I have been using a previous version of Kontakt (either late 5 or early 6, don't remember) and back then adding a new Library was as simple as clicking "add" on the main UI, locating the folder containing the nicnt (or generating it with library tool and then locating it), clicking on it and it would get added. Quick and easy.

Now in this version of Kontakt 6.6.1 (Bobdule) the "add" button seems to be gone, and instead the "manage libraries" thing takes you to the options where you'll see a list of your already installed libraries, and then a button to open Native Access in order to add or locate additional libraries. Do I really need to use legit Native Access in order to add my cracked libraries now? Clicking the Floppy Disk icon in the top of Kontakt and selecting "Load" only lets me open .nki files, but not nicnt. Nicnt isn't even displayed in the file browser of Kontakt. I never had to use Native Access in order to add a library before so I'm kind of confused. Am I missing something?

No, it went around 5.8.1, and also you must be getting confused "cross-platform" or something.
We only used, and use, 5.6.0 for its Add Library button on macOS.
    It's a mac only workaround.
    It never would.
Browser only shows .nki, .nkm. Even .wavs are invisible!

I've never used a Mac. I'm not saying that I used 5.X as a workaround before, just that it was the last version of Kontakt I used before updating to a newer version (6.6.1) via sister site that doesn't have an add library button anymore.

So what is the workaround on Windows?

Capture.JPG On the Portable version of Kontakt 6, you still had the option to use the Library Manager to add custom images and folders for non-official Kontakt libraries. E II emulator above and the EMU libraries are examples of this.

So in other words, the only solution is to install a portable or older version of Kontakt alongside 6.6.1 and use that one to add libraries?
Because according to Smoove Grooves the "use old version of Kontakt to add libs" workaround is a macOS only thing.
How does everyone else go about it now?

My portable version is 6.4 so unless you're installing libraries that only work with 6.6, I'm not sure it will be too much of a step backwards for you!! I could hardly notice any differences from Kontakt 5 to 6 nevermind 6.4 to 6.6

Yea, I only replaced the old Kontakt because it was causing issues with constantly freezing.
But all this is still kind of strange because having to do that renders all the newer releases of Kontakt even by R2R to be kind of useless...?

Sooo, has anyone found a solution yet? Many people use cracked Kontakt, but noone seems to be discussing it so I'm assuming the solution has to be straight forward? Not being able to add any new libraries to my Kontakt because you can't add them via nicnt anymore is a huge pain. Any time I want to use Kontakt libraries that I've obtained after "updating" to 6 and later I have to manually load the .nki files every single time.

In library manager there is an add button. After clicking add you go to the root directory of the library and then save. Restart Kontakt and you library will be listed. I'm using Kontakt 6.6.1 (Bobdule) and never had an issue adding any library. If the library doesn't have a nicnt
file create a wallpaper.png file put it in the library's root directory.

No add button. Just a list of my libraries that I installed before I got Kontakt 6, and a field that reads "Launch Native Access to add, activate or locate a purchased Library"
And yea, this is where a simple "add" button used to be located, but not anymore. Also using 6.6.1 by Bobdule. fdsfdsfsf.png

I can go into the "Database" tab and add directories, but it doesn't add any actual libraries (via the nicnt files located within), just gives me a list of .nki's and whatnot.

edit: wiped my reply, because I forgot (per vstdeep's post), it should be able to be from the UI and my dumb ass has been running it from the folder location (kontakt install\helper\library manager\library manager.exe) this whole time

I guess I don't understand your issue because I only use the Manage Library in 6.6.1 to add libraries. It's so easy this way.
    1. Copy your library to the portable libraries folder.
    2. Open Kontakt portable.
    3. Click Manage Library
    4. Click Add button on the Library manager.
    5. Browse and select the root directory (don't go further...just select the root dir for the library)
    6. Click ok

Repeat 4 to 6 until all your libraries have been added

    7. Click Save in Library manager.
    8. Restart Kontakt and your library(s) will appear.

Dblurgg, are you sure you're opening Kontakt portable in your daw and not Player? It should say Portable on the graphic in top left.

I just completely dropped my 6.6.0 install and installed Bobdule's 6.6.1 and the Library Manager works fine (it is the one shown above in vstdeep's screen shot, which is custom and not the default library manager). If you don't see KONTAKT portable in the top left like in vstdeep's screenshot above, you're not loading portable in your daw.

Make sure that the folder you extracted your Kontakt portable to is listed in your DAW as one of the folders it scans new plugins within.

you used the first version, the "add library tool" is in the "kontakt patcher.exe".

i replaced this by a second version, launching "Kontakt button.exe" from the library manager.
    [IMG] [IMG]

to integrate all from kontakt directlly. keeping the native access link choice.
download the last version, or use the external tool called "kontakt patcher"/add library tool

the link is in the comments, or google bob dule kontakt.

Kontakt 6.7.1 MAC + ADD Library Scripts (the mac tool equivalent)

    intel (osx)universal (M1)

    Library Tool terminal code:

    first step, install x code

    xcode-select --install

To force the standalone auto close add a deep sign:

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Native\ Instruments/Kontakt/Kontakt.app

Where can I download the pink Kontakt Tool for Add Library/ patcher that you attached in the photos? If you have it, could you upload it eventually to mediafire or something in order to download it? Please It would be a lifesaver for all the people like me who are searching for it

WHy still playing around with Kontakt 6.xx? Kontakt 7 is out and manage/add libraries is way easier than most of the previous versions hacked versions. With 7 it works like it's supposed to "manage libraries" >> "add library" >> point at the folder containing the library >> DONE. With 7 pressing "help" there is the older "add library" method wherein it simply brings up the file browser to point at the library folder.

Native access is not present on my system. Running a FULL Kontakt version here not a portable. Also running late FULL versions of battery, and reaktor and still no "Native Access".

    Native access is the mechanism by which legit NI stuff adds/installs/authorizes stuff by default (someone correct me if I'm wrong) and uses internet to phone home for authentication. Suggest COMPLETELY scrapping whatever that is you're running there (including "native access" unless you really need for something) and try either of these;

    Native Instruments – Kontakt 7 v7.3.0 – R2R (STANDALONE, VSTi3, AAX) [WiN x64]
    Native Instruments – Kontakt 7 v7.1.3 (STANDALONE, VSTi3, AAX) [WiN x64]

I have no troubles what so ever adding libs.My OS is optimized, NO Internet, NO a/v, NO folder/account protection or any of that garbage running.

BE ADVISED: You must COMPLETELY remove the old wares before installing any new stuff.

Also as far as your libraries go I would consolidate them ALL onto another drive (not C:\) under a root folder named "Kontakt Libraries" or some such, and move all current and future libraries THERE.
