Well think of it this way. Can you mumble over your work better? Is mumbling what you need? Is mumbling bringing the value of your work down? Are you driving your clientele back home tilting on lean?

If you answered yes to 5 out of 4 then turning down an offer may be right for you. If you make yourself the guy that works with anyone, especially for the low then expect to be the guy that does it for the low forever. Don't be the town bike seat. That's what thots are for.

 

I think it is where any of us happen to be at a specific point in our lives. Speaking honestly, there was a time when I said yes to everything. I wish I could say that that period in my life remained until now but that's a lie - it did not. The music industry and everything associated with live performances, sessions, bookings, agents and labels has done a backflip, and now, even more so.

A person also gets to a stage after doing any job for a long time no matter how much they love it, that being happy is more important than saying yes to everything.
